Ֆրանսիայում վախճանվել Է աշխարհահռչակ գրող Միշել Տուռնիեն

91 տարեկան հասակում Շուազի քաղաքում վախճանվել Է Գոնկուրյան մրցանակի դափնեկիր, աշխարհահռչակ գրող Միշել Տուռնիեն: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հունվարի 18-ին այս մասին հայտնել են նրա մերձավորները, ինչպես նաեւ Շուազիի քաղաքագլուխը, որտեղ գրողն ապրում Էր:
Տուռնիեն ավարտել Է Սորբոնի եւ Տյուբինգենի համալսարանի փիլիսոփայության ֆակուլտետը: 50 – 60-ական թվականներին լրագրող Է աշխատել ռադիոյում եւ Փարիզի մի շարք խոշոր թերթերում:
Զբաղվել Է նաեւ թարգմանություններով, քանի որ կատարելապես տիրապետել Է գերմաներենին: Իր առաջին վեպը՝ «Թռչունը կամ Խաղաղօվկիանոսյան լիմբը» Տուռնիեն հրատարակել Է 1967 թվականին՝ Դանիել Դեֆոյի ստեղծագործությունների տպավորության ներքո: Գիրքը բարձր գնահատանքի Է արժանացել եւ ստացել Է Ֆրանսիայի ակադեմիայի Մեծ մրցանակը: Գոնկուրյան մրցանակը նա ստացել Է 1970 թվականին «Անտառի արքան» վեպի համար: Գիրքն արագորեն տարածվել Է, եւ դրա ընդհանուր տպաքանակն այն տարիներին հասել Է չորս միլիոնի:
1972 թվականին Միշել Տուռնիեն ընտրվել Է Գոնկուրյան ակադեմիայի անդամ: Արդեն կյանքի օրոք նա համարվում Էր Ֆրանսիայի 20-րդ դարի երկրորդ կեսի խոշորագույն գրողներից մեկը: Տուռնիեի ստեղծագործությունները հրատարակվել են աշխարհի տարբեր երկրներում, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
