Հայաստանի քաղաքացիների մեծ մասը՝ 53,8 %-ը, անընդունելի է համարում ՀԱՊԿ-ից Հայաստանի դուրս գալը Եվրամիության հետ վիզային ռեժիմի ազատականացման համար։ Այս հարցն ընդունելի է միայն հարցվածների 42,5 %-ի համար։

«Gallup International Association» ներկայացուցչության անցկացրած հարցման տվյալները երեկ ներկայացվել է հանրությանը։ Հարցվածների 42 %-ը նշել է, որ Ռուսաստանի հետ հարաբերությունների խզումը չի բխում Հայաստանի շահերից, և հարցվածների միայն 23,2 %-ն է կարծում, որ Ռուսաստանի հետ հարաբերությունների խզումը համապատասխանում է երկրի շահերին, իսկ 13,9 %-ը ձեռնտու է համարում, ևս 16,1 %-ը կարծում է, որ Ռուսաստանի հետ հարաբերությունների խզումը հավանական բացասական հետևանքներ կունենա։

Փաստացի, այս դեպքում էլ հանրության մեծամասնությունը կտրականապես դեմ է Ռուսաստանի ու ՀԱՊԿ-ի հետ հարաբերությունների խզմանը՝ հասկանալով, թե ինչ հետևանքներ դա կարող է ունենալ։ Այս հարցումը ցրում է բոլոր այն միֆերը, որոնք գործող իշխանությունները փորձում են տարածել հանրության շրջանում՝ ներկայացնելով, թե իբր հասարակության մեջ լուրջ ատելություն կա Ռուսաստանի գլխավորած ինտեգրացիոն միավորների նկատմամբ, և հայ հանրությունը ձգտում է դեպի Եվրամիություն։

Ըստ էության, այս հարցումը նաև վստահության քվե էր Փաշինյանի համար և նա «բարեհաջող» այն տապալել է։
«Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժման առաջնորդ, Պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար Արշակ Կարապետյանը բազմիցս նշել է, որ ՀԱՊԿ-ի մասով Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունների քաղաքականությունը խամաճիկային է, իշխանությունները դրվել են հեռակառավարման վահանակի վրա, իսկ կառավարողները Հայաստանում չեն գտնվում, այլ ԱՄՆ դեսպանատանը, որտեղից էլ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին հանձնարարում են քայլեր կատարել ՀԱՊԿ-ն լքելու, Ռուսաստանի հետ հարաբերությունները խզելու մասով։

Ըստ էության, անցկացված հարցումը փաստում է Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունների արտաքին քաղաքական վեկտորը փոխելու քաղաքականության անհեռանկարայնության և վտանգավորության մասին։

Ի վերջո նման քաղաքականության հետևանքները կրելու է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության քաղաքացին, որը պետք է արդեն այսօր իսկ որոշում կայացնի՝ ցանկանում է ապրել նոր վտանգների պայմաններում, թե գործող իշխանություններին հեռացնելով՝ ամրապնդի սեփական երկրի անվտանգությունը։
