Մարտի 5-ին Կահիրեում ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանը հանդիպում է ունեցել Եգիպտոսի Արաբական Հանրապետության ԱԳ նախարար Սամեհ Շուքրիի հետ, հայտնում են ԱԳՆ-ից։
Հաղորդագրությունում նշված է․
«Հանդիպումը կայացել է ՀՀ վարչապետի՝ Եգիպտոս պաշտոնական այցի շրջանակներում:
Հայաստանի և Եգիպտոսի ԱԳ նախարարները մտքեր են փոխանակել երկկողմ օրակարգի և քաղաքական երկխոսության ընդլայնման հեռանկարների շուրջ: Զրուցակիցները կարևորել են պարբերական բարձրաստիճան փոխայցելությունների դերը հայ-եգիպտական փոխգործակցության շրջանակի ընդլայնման և փոխադարձ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող ոլորտներում համագործակցության հետագա զարգացման գործում։
Քննարկվել են տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության հարցեր։
Նախարար Միրզոյանն անդրադարձել է Հարավային Կովկասում երկարատև խաղաղության և կայունության հաստատման ուղղությամբ ՀՀ շարունակական ջանքերին՝ իր եգիպտացի գործընկերոջը ներկայացնելով Հայաստան-Ադրբեջան հարաբերությունների կարգավորման գործընթացում վերջին քննարկումները: Արարատ Միրզոյանը շեշտել է, որ առանցքային հարցերի շուրջ ՀՀ մոտեցումներն արդարացի են և լեգիտիմ՝ հիմնված հանրահայտ սկզբունքների՝ տարածքային ամբողջականության, ինքնիշխանության և իրավազորության հարգման անհրաժեշտության վրա: Տարածաշրջանային ենթակառուցվածքների ապաշրջափակման համատեքստում Արարատ Միրզոյանն ընդգծել է ՀՀ հստակ արտահայտված շահագրգռվածությունը և փոխադարձության ու հավասարության սկզբունքներով գործընթացն առաջ տանելու քաղաքական կամքը»։
