Президент России Владимир Путин в приветствии участникам 12-го российско-азербайджанского межрегионального форума отметил, что сотрудничество регионов двух стран вносит большой вклад в укрепление доверия и взаимопонимания между их народами, соответствующая телеграмма опубликована на сайте Кремля.

«Сотрудничество по линии регионов является важной составляющей российско-азербайджанского стратегического партнерства и союзничества, вносит большой вклад в укрепление доверия и взаимопонимания между нашими народами, расширяет возможности для продвижения взаимовыгодных торговых, инвестиционных и гуманитарных связей, создает условия для повышения благосостояния граждан обеих стран», - приводятся в сообщении слова главы российского государства.

Путин отметил, что ставшие доброй традицией встречи обеспечивают прямой диалог между представителями органов власти и общественных, научных и деловых кругов по актуальным вопросам межрегионального взаимодействия.

«В этом году повестка дня форума как всегда объемна и содержательна. В центре внимания - различные аспекты развития кооперации в сферах промышленности и сельского хозяйства, поддержка малого и среднего предпринимательства, совместных проектов по защите окружающей среды», - подчеркивается в приветствии президента РФ.

Российский лидер выразил уверенность, что дискуссии в рамках форума будут полезными и конструктивными, а также дадут старт новым перспективным идеям и инициативам.
