Олимпийский чемпион заявил о нереальности возвращения Валиевой в спорт

Олимпийский чемпион по фигурному катанию Максим Маринин объяснил, почему не верит в возвращение российской фигуристки Камилы Валиевой в спорт после четырехлетней дисквалификации из-за нарушения антидопинговых правил, а также посоветовал спортсменке подумать, чем она будет заниматься в жизни дальше. Его слова приводит «Спорт-Экспресс».
«Если бы она выступала за другую страну, где не было бы такой высокой конкуренции, то я бы мог поверить. Но сейчас нет возможности тренироваться в этой системе, спортсменка такого уровня и класса просто выпадает из обоймы, а вернуться обратно очень сложно», — заявил Маринин.
29 января Спортивный арбитражный суд (CAS) признал Валиеву виновной в употреблении допинга и дисквалифицировал спортсменку на четыре года. Она не может выступать на турнирах до декабря 2025 года.
Фигуристку лишили золотых медалей чемпионата России, чемпионата Европы. На олимпийских играх в Пекине Валиева в составе сборной России завоевала золото, а после дисквалификации она также была лишена этой медали, а российской команде присудили бронзу.
