«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Iz.ru-ն «Բարեկամությանը հաղթեցին. ինչի՞ կհանգեցնի Հայաստանի և Ուկրաինայի մերձեցումը» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հայտարարել է, թե Երևանն Ուկրաինայի հարցում Ռուսաստանի դաշնակիցը չէ։ Ընդհանուր առմամբ, վերջին շրջանում մերձեցում է նկատվում այդ անդրկովկասյան հանրապետության և Կիևի միջև։ Երկու երկրի ներկայացուցիչները մի քանի նշանակալից հանդիպումներ են անցկացրել, այդ թվում՝ Փաշինյանն անձամբ է շփվել Զելենսկու հետ։ Բացի այդ, Երևանը Ուկրաինայի զինված ուժերի կարիքների համար մի քանի խմբաքանակ մարդասիրական օգնություն է ուղարկել Նեզալեժնայա։ ՄԳԻՄՕ-ի Կովկասյան հիմնախնդիրների և տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության կենտրոնի առաջատար հետազոտող Նիկոլայ Սիլաևը այն կարծիքին է, որ Երևանն ու Կիևը չեն կարողանա լրջորեն օգնել միմյանց, ուստի նրանց մերձեցումը հիմնականում ցուցադրական է:

«Երևանը ցանկանում է գոհացնել Արևմուտքին, և դա անելու համար նա ընդառաջ է գնում Ուկրաինային։ Դա բավականին անխոհեմ քաղաքականություն է։ Անմիջապես բնական հարց է ծագում. եթե Հայաստանը ուկրաինական հակամարտությունում իրեն չի համարում Ռուսաստանի դաշնակիցը, ապա ինչո՞ւ Ռուսաստանը պետք է Հայաստանի դաշնակիցը լինի Ադրբեջանի և Թուրքիայի հետ առճակատման հարցում։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը այս մասին չի խոսում, թեպետ պետք է բարձրաձայնի»,շեշտել է iz.ru-ի զրուցակիցը: Հայաստանի խորհրդարանի նախկին պատգամավոր Արման Աբովյանն էլ կարծում է, որ Փաշինյանի թիմը փորձում է Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքականությունը վերակողմնորոշել Արևելքից Արևմուտք։

«Այդ վերակողմնորոշման շրջանակներում է նաև տեղի ունենում մերձեցում Ուկրաինայի հետ։ Կարծում եմ, որ նման քաղաքականությունը աղետալի հետևանքներ կունենա։ Ո՛չ ԱՄՆ-ը, ո՛չ ԵՄ երկրները բացարձակապես չեն մտածում Հայաստանի մասին։ Նրանց միայն մեկ բան է պետք՝ թուլացնել Ռուսաստանի դիրքերը տարածաշրջանում: Ըստ այդմ, մենք ոչ մի աջակցություն չենք ստանա Ադրբեջանի և Թուրքիայի հետ առճակատման հարցում»,նշել է նա iz.ru-ի հետ զրույցում։
