Ոստիկանների կատարված բացատրական աշխատանքների արդյունքում քաղաքացին զանգահարել է ոստիկանության Բազումի բաժին և հայտնել, որ ինքը արցախյան բոլոր պատերազմների մասնակից է և լսելով ոստիկանների կոչը պատերազմներից հետո իր հետ բերած զենք ու զինամթերքը ցանկանում է հանձնել իրավապահներին և այն թողել է Նիզամի փողոցում գտնվող նախկին «Սրտաբանական» հիվանդանոց կոչվող տարածքում։

Անմիջապես նշված վայր են մեկնում ոստիկանության ծառայողները, ովքեր կատարված որոնողական և սանրման աշխատանքների արդյունքում կիսակառույց շինության մոտ հայտնաբերում են փաթեթներ՝ կապույտ գույնի բրդյա ծածկոց և պլաշե ծածկոց, որոնց մեջ արտաքին զննությամբ առկա է եղել 3 թմբուկավոր ատրճանակ, 2 «Մակարով» տեսակի նմանվող ատրճանակ, 1 «Վալտեր» տեսակի նմանվող ատրճանակ, 3 ինքնաձիգ, 1 կարճեցված փողով «Կարաբին» տեսակի ակոսափող հրացան, 1 կարճեցված փողով ողորկափող հրացան, 1 արկ, 11 նռնակ, 6 պայթուցիչ, 1 հակահետևակային ական՝ իր պայթուցիչով, 2 պահեստատուփ, 2 ժապավեն, 7,62 մմ տրամաչափի 45 փամփուշտներ, 2 տուփ փամփուշտներ՝ փակ վիճակում, 793 հատ տարբեր տրամաչափի փամփուշտներ և 1 ցինկ՝ խոշոր տրամաչափի փամփուշտներ:
