Բելառուսի նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Լուկաշենկոն հայտարարել է, որ երկիրը պետք է պատրաստ լինի պատերազմի թե՛ մենթալ, թե՛ ռազմավարական առումով։ Նա հավելել է, որ բոլոր «արյունոտ արշավները» արևմուտքից եկել են արևելք և «խայտառակությամբ հետ են գլորվել», գրում է kommersant.ru-ն։
«Մենք գիտենք մեր հողերի նկատմամբ հետաքրքրության իրական պատճառները... Մեզ պատերազմ պետք չէ, ուստի մենք պետք է պատրաստ լինենք դրան և՛ մտավոր, և՛ ռազմավարական առումով։ Ինչ վերաբերում է պահի լրջության գիտակցմանը. եկեք դեն նետենք գլոբալ հակամարտության դիվանագիտական կարգավորման հնարավորության մասին բոլոր պատրանքները», - ասել է Ալեքսանդր Լուկաշենկոն ազգային անվտանգության համակարգի կառավարական գերատեսչությունների ղեկավարության հետ հանդիպմանը:
Նա հավելել է, որ ՆԱՏՕ-ի հետ Ռուսաստանի և Բելառուսի սահմանին տեղակայված է ՆԱՏՕ-ի 32 հազար զինծառայող, ինչպես նաև ավելի քան 1 հազար զրահամեքենա, մոտ 160 հրետանային համակարգ և ականանետ, 235 ինքնաթիռ և ուղղաթիռ։ Լուկաշենկոյի կարծիքով՝ «հավաքական Արևմուտքի ախորժակը և ակտիվությունը միայն կավելանան»։
Հանդիպմանը Բելառուսի նախագահը, ի թիվս այլ հարցերի, խոսել է Մերձավոր Արևելքում էսկալացիայի մասին։ Նա ասել է, որ տարածաշրջանում բացահայտ հնչում են միջուկային զենքի կիրառման սպառնալիքներ, և ամբողջական քաղաքներ ջնջվում են աշխարհի երեսից։
«Ստացվում է, որ դա կարելի է անել առանց պատժամիջոցների տակ ընկնելու, այսպես կոչված քաղաքակիրթ հասարակության աչքում վտարանդի չդառնալ», - հավելել է Լուկաշենկոն։
