Էկոնոմիկայի նախարար Վահան Քերոբյանը հրաժարական է տվել։ Նա ֆեյսբուքյան գրառում է արել, նշել, որ այլևս նախարարի պաշտոնում չի ծառայելու հանրությանը։ Քերոբյանը հայտարարել է, թե 3-ից ավել տարվա ընթացքում աշխատել է անմնացորդ նվիրվածությամբ, առավոտյան 8-ից երեկոյան 9-ը և 3 տարում ընդամենը 15-16 օր է գնացել արձակուրդ։

Էկոնոմիկայի նախարարի հրաժարականի դիմումն արդեն ստորագրել է նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանը։ Թե ո՞ւմ կնշանակեն նախարարի պաշտոնում, հայտնի չէ, սակայն էկոնոմիկայի նախարարությունում բռնկված կոռուպցիոն սկանդալից հետո, արդեն իսկ տրամաբանական էր, որ Քերոբյանը հրաժեշտ է տալու իր պաշտոնին, առավել ևս, որ նա հանդգնել էր պաշտպանել իր նախկին տեղակալ Անի Իսպիրյանին, որն էլ կոռուպցիոն սկանդալի գլխավոր գործող անձանցից մեկն է։

Քերոբյանի հրաժարականի մասին լուրերը շրջանառվել են 3 տարվա ընթացքում մշտապես։ 2021 թվականին նա հայտարարել էր, որ երկնիշ տնտեսական աճ չունենալու դեպքում, հրաժարական է տալու, իսկ արդեն հունվարին, երբ երկնիշ տնտեսական աճ չէին կարողացել ապահովել, Ազգային ժողովում հայտարարել էր, թե կատակ էր արել։

Մի շարք դեպքերում Քերոբյանը խնդիրներ է ունեցել ՔՊ-ական օլիգարխների՝ մասնավորապես Խաչատուր Սուքիասյանի հետ և մշտապես խոսվում էր որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հեռացնելու է նրան նախարարի պաշտոնից։ Ի վերջո, Քերոբյանին հեռացրել է միայն այժմ՝ Հայաստան-Եվրամիություն գործընկերության խորհրդի նիստից հետո։

Ըստ մեր աղբյուրների՝ Փաշինյանին պարզորոշ հասկացրել են, որ պատրաստ են ներել նրան Ռուսաստանի նկատմամբ պատժամիջոցները շրջանցելու հարցում, եթե նա հեռացնի այդ գծով գլխավոր «մեղավորին»՝ Վահան Քերոբյանին։ Թե՛ Քերոբյանը, թե՛ փոխվարչապետ Մհեր Գրիգորյանն արևմտյան կառույցների կողմից ընկալվում են որպես ավելի շատ ռուսամետ գործիչներ, իսկ Արևմուտքն ամեն գնով ցանկանում է այդպիսիներից ազատվել։ Այնպես որ չի բացառվում, որ առաջիկայում ևս մեկ հրաժարականի դիմում լինի, այս անգամ փոխվարչապետի կողմից։
