պետքարտուղար Էնթոնի Բլինկենը «մեր մարդն է», քանի որ քաղաքական գործչի խոսքերից հետևում է, որ նրա հարազատները փախել են Ռուսաստանից։ Այդ մասին ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը հայտարարել է լրագրող Պավել Զարուբինին տված հարցազրույցում, որից մի հատված հրապարակվել է Կրեմլի թելեգրամյան ալիքում։
Պուտինն ասել է, որ ինքն ամերիկացի լրագրող Թակեր Կառլսոնի հետ քննարկել է Բլինկենի պատմածն այն մասին, որ իր հարազատները, այդ թվում՝ նախապապը, փախել են Ռուսաստանից, հրեական ջարդերից։
ՌԴ նախագահի խոսքով, այդ տեղեկության վերաբերյալ փաստաթղթերը պահվում են ռուսական արխիվներում։
«Օրինակ, պարոն Բլինկենի նախապապը իսկապես հեռացել է Ռուսական կայսրությունից։ Նա ծնվել է, իմ հիշելով, ինչ-որ տեղ Պոլտավայի նահանգում, հետո ապրել Կիևում ու հեռացել այնտեղից։ Հարց է առաջանում՝ պարոն Բլինկենը հավատո՞ւմ է, որ սա պատմական ռուսական տարածք է: Երկրորդ. եթե նա ասում է, որ նախապապը փախել է Ռուսաստանից, հրեական ջարդերից, ապա առնվազն կարծում է, որ 1904 թվականին Ուկրաինա չկար... այնտեղ Ուկրաինա չկար։ Ըստ երևույթին, պարոն Բլինկենը մեր մարդն է: Սակայն չարժե նման հրապարակային հայտարարություններ անել, դա կարող է ձախողման հանգեցնել», - ասել է Պուտինը։
Ինքը՝ Բլինկենը, պատմել է, որ իր նախապապն ու նախատատը փախել են սոցիալիստական ճամբարի երկրներից։ Պետքարտուղարը հայտնել էր, որ իր խորթ հայրը՝ Սամուել Պիսարը, դպրոց է գնացել Լեհաստանի Բիալիստոկ քաղաքում։ Հետագայում նրան ուղարկել են նացիստական համակենտրոնացման ճամբարներ, բայց նա կարողացել է փրկվել Հոլոքոստից:
Ըստ «Ուկրաինական հրեական հանդիպում» կազմակերպության՝ Բլինկենի նախապապը՝ Մեիր Բլինկինը, ծնվել է 1879 թվականին Կիևի մոտ գտնվող Պերեյասլավ քաղաքում։ Այնուհետև Բլինկինը տեղափոխվել է Կիև, որտեղ 1900 թվականին ծնվել է նրա որդին՝ Մորիցը՝ Բլինկենի պապը: Մեիր Բլինկինը 1904 թվականին ընտանիքի հետ լքել է Կիևը և մեկնել ԱՄՆ։
