Նրա խոսքով՝ երեկ ամբողջ օրն անհանգիստ է եղել, իսկ գիշերը հայկական դիրքերի ուղղությամբ ավտոմատ կրակահերթի ձայներ լսվել են, որն, ըստ մեր զրուցակցի, Ներքին Հանդում պարբերական բնույթ է կրում։ Բնակիչներն առավոտյան են իմացել զոհերի ու վիրավորների մասին։
«Իհարկե՛ անհանգստություն կա, բա մեր երեխեքն են դիրքում, բայց գյուղում խուճապ չկա, անգամ դպրոցն է գործում, ոչ ոք դուրս չի եկել, բոլորս մեր գործերին ենք»,- ասաց նա։
Մելս Բաղդասարյանը նաև ասաց, որ 2020-ից հետո ադրբեջանական դիրքերը տեղակայվել են գյուղի հարակից բարձունքներում, հետո կամաց-կամաց առաջ եկել, հիմա Ներքին Հանդը 3 կողմից շրջափակված է։
