Դատախազի սպանության մեջ մեղադրվող՝ «Վրաստանի ձայնի» տնօրեն Բիձինա Կուչավան հրազենով ինքնասպանություն Է գործել ոստիկանության կողմից ձերբակալման ժամանակ: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է երկրի ներքին գործերի նախարարությունը:
Արեւմտյան Վրաստանի տարածաշրջանի դատախազ Վախթանգ Կիրիային Թբիլիսիում մեռած են գտել այն բանից մի քանի օր անց, երբ ընտանիքի անդամները հայտարարել Էին նրա անհետացման մասին: Քննիչները պարզել են, որ այն բնակարանը, որտեղ գտել են մարմինը, վարձակալում Էր Կուչավան, եւ հենց նա Էլ ձեռք Է բերել հանցագործության կատարման համար՝ տեղում գտնված իրերը: Ելնելով դրանից՝ հետաքննությունը նրան կասկածել Է հանցագործության կատարման մեջ:
«Ծանուցում Էր ստացվել այն մասին, որ Բիձինա Կուչավան այլ անձանց հետ Թբիլիսիի Սաբուրթալոյի շրջանից գնում Է Օրթաճալայի շրջան: Մի քանի րոպե անց ավտոմոբիլը կանգնեցվել Է պարեկային եւ ոստիկանական խմբերի կողմից: Տեսնելով ոստիկաններին՝ Բիձինա Կուչավան հանել Է իր իսկ անվամբ գրանցված հրազենը եւ կրակել իր գլխին, ինչի հետեւանքով տեղում մահացել Է»,- հայտնել Է ՆԳ նախարարությունը, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
