 ԱՄՆ-ը Իրանի կառուցողական մոտեցումն է ակնկալում տարածաշրջանի հիմնախնդիրների լուծման գործընթացում: Ինչպես հունվարի 17-ին կայացած հատուկ ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ հայտնել է ամերիկյան վարչակազմի ներկայացուցիչը, Թեհրանը դա կարող է ցուցադրել սիրիական հակամարտության կարգավորման շուրջ բանակցությունների ընթացքում, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:

 «Սիրիայի իրադրության շուրջ Իրանի եւ ԱՄՆ-ի միջեւ պահպանվում են Էական տարաձայնություններ: Մեր կարծիքով՝ տարածաշրջանային հիմնախնդիրների լուծման համար կոնստրուկտիվորեն աշխատելու Իրանի ցանկության ստուգումը կդառնա ժամանակի ընթացքում այն բանը հասկանալու ընդունակությունը, որ Սիրիայում քաղաքացիական պատերազմը չի հաջողվի ավարտել, քանի դեռ իշխանության գլուխ է Բաշար Ասադը»,- ասել է նա:

«Եթե Իրանը կարողանա գործել կենստրուկտիվորեն, ապա դա դրականորեն կազդի տարբեր հարցերի լուծման գործընթացի վրա: Եթե ոչ՝ մենք կշարունակենք խստացնել մեր պատժամիջոցները»,- հավելել է նա:

Ավելի վաղ ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Բարաք Օբաման Իրանի հետ միջուկային գործարքի իրագործմանը նվիրված հատուկ ուղերձի ընթացքում հայտարարել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ը կշարունակի քաղաքականությունը Թեհրանի այն գործողությունների դեմ, որոնք անհանգստացնում են Վաշինգտոնին: Խոսքը, մասնավորապես, վերաբերում է տարածաշրջանում Իրանի «ապակայունացնող ակտիվությանը» եւ բալիստիկ հրթիռների մշակմանը, հաղորդել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
