Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը չափազանց զայրացած է Հանրային հեռուստառադիոընկերությունում կատարվող իրադարձություններից և հանձնարարել է ԱԱԾ-ին ու իրավապահ մյուս մարմիններին իսկական հարձակում իրականացնել թե՛ Հանրային հեռուստատեսության, և թե՛ Հանրային ռադիոյի դեմ։

Գործող վարչախմբի վրդովմունքի պատճառը Հանրային ռադիոյում տեղի ունեցածն էր, երբ Փաշինյանի լղոզված հարցազրույցից հետո, Հանրային ռադիոյի տնօրեն Գարեգին Խումարյանը համարձակություն ունեցավ մեղադրանքներ հասցեագրել գործող վարչախմբի պարագլխին։ Դրանից հետո, իհարկե, փաշինյանական մամուլն անմիջապես թիրախավորեց Գարեգին Խումարյանին, նրան, ընդհուպ, մեղադրելով մինչև քոչարյանական լրատվամիջոցների հետ համագործակցելու մեջ։

ՔՊ մեր աղբյուրի փոխանցմամբ, Փաշինյանը որոշել է ամեն գնով քրեական գործ հարուցել Հանրային ռադիոյում, որպեսզի հետապնդումը միայն Գարեգին Խումարյանի դեմ չլինի, Փաշինյանը նաև հանձնարարել է ստուգումներ իրականացնել Հանրային հեռարձակողի խորհրդում և Հանրային հեռուստատեսությունում, առավել ևս, որ Հանրային հեռուստատեսությունից դժգոհություններ իշխանության մեջ վաղուց կան։ Միակ բաժինը, որի աշխատանքից Փաշինյանը գոհ է, Հանրային հեռուստատեսության լրատվական ծառայությունն է, որտեղ ղեկավար կազմն ամբողջությամբ Փաշինյանի սիրելի, ընտանեկան թերթից են։ Մնացած դեպքերում Փաշինյանը համարում է, թե բյուջեից ահռելի միջոցներ են տրամադրվում Հանրային հեռուստատեսությանը, սակայն որևէ որակական փոփոխություն տեղի չի ունեցել, ընդհակառակը, Հանրային հեռուստատեսությունը լրջորեն կորցրել է իր վարկանիշը։ Հանրային հեռուստատեսության ղեկավարությանն էլ կասկածում են պետական միջոցների խոշոր փոշիացումների մեջ, ուստի, արդեն առաջիկա օրերին քննչական կոմիտեն, ԱԱԾ-ն և պետական վերահսկողության ծառայությունը միասին լուրջ «ռեյդ» են իրականացնելու՝ ստուգելով բոլոր ֆինանսական փաստաթղթերը։
