Պակիստանի Բելուջիստան նահանգում երկու պայթյուն է որոտացել, զոհվել է 28 մարդ, ավելի քան 40-ը՝ վիրավորվել, հաղորդում է տեղական Geo TV հեռուստաալիքը։
Պայթյունները տեղի են ունեցել Ազգային ժողովի (խորհրդարանի ստորին պալատ) ընտրությունների թեկնածուների գրասենյակների մոտ։
Առաջին պայթյունը տեղի է ունեցել անկախ թեկնածու Ասֆանդ Խան Կաքարի գրասենյակի մոտ, ինչի հետևանքով զոհվել է 15 մարդ, վիրավորվել՝ ավելի քան 30-ը։ Վիրավորների մեծ մասը ծայրահեղ ծանր վիճակում է։
Վաղը Պակիստանում տեղի կունենան Ազգային ժողովի և նահանգային օրենսդիր հաստատությունների ընտրություններ։ Ընտրություններին ընդառաջ երկրում աճել են բռնության դեպքերը։ Մասնավորապես, հունվարի 31-ին Խայբեր Պախտունխվա նահանգում գնդակահարվել է անկախ թեկնածու Ռեհան Զեբ Խանը։ Հարձակման է ենթարկվել նաև Պակիստանի ժողովրդական կուսակցության թեկնածու Սայեդ Զուլֆիկար Ալի Շահը։ Իշխանությունները որոշել են օգտագործել զինված ուժերը՝ քվեարկության ժամանակ անվտանգությունն ապահովելու համար։
