Քաղաքական-հասարակական գործիչ, «Համախմբում» շարժման խորհրդի անդամ Ավետիք Չալաբյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Հանգստյան օրերին համացանցում լայն տարածում է գտել գերաշնորհ Միքայել արքեպիսկոպոս Աջապահյանի ելույթը, որտեղ նա, ի թիվս այլ մտքերի, պնդում է, որ «հայերը աշխարհի ամենահիվանդ ազգն են», և մասնավորապես անդրադառնալով նախկինում կայացած մեր մի զրույցին ևս՝ նշում է, որ ես էլ խիստ գերագնահատում եմ մեր ազգի կարողությունները:

Խորին ակնածանք տածելով Սրբազան հոր նկատմամբ, և որևէ կերպ չցանկանալով սա շարունակական պոլեմիկայի վերածել, ընդամենը ցանկանում եմ այս կապակցությամբ նշել հետևյալը՝

ա) այսօր աշխարհի տարբեր մասերում տարբեր ազգեր բախվում են լրջագույն մարտահրավերների, և գտնվում են խորը ճգնաժամի մեջ: Հարավային Կորեայում մի կնոջ հաշվով ծնունդները ընդամենը 0.8 երեխա են կազմում, Ուկրաինայում անկախացումից ի վեր բնակչության թիվը փաստացի կրկնակի նվազել է, Էկվադորում վերջերս մաֆիան լկտիաբար գրավեց բանտերը և պետական հեռուստատեսությունը, խաղաղ և բարեկեցիկ Լիտվայից արտագաղթը ավելի մեծ տոկոս է կազմում, քան փաստացի պատերազմում գտնվող Հայաստանից: Պնդել, որ «հայերը աշխարհի ամենահիվանդ» ազգն են՝ ակնհայտ չափազանցություն է, և անտեսում է այն լրջագույն խնդիրները, որոնց այսօր բախվում է ողջ աշխարհը և շատ այլ ազգեր, և որոնք ազդում են նաև մեր ազգի վրա, թուլացնելով նրա կազմակերպվածությունը և դիմադրողականությունը, դրան մեր դեպքում գումարվում է նաև բիրտագույն արտաքին ճնշումը:

բ) դրանով հանդերձ, մեր ազգը իսկապես գտնվում է խորը ճգնաժամի մեջ, և դա անտեսելն որևէ կերպ անհնար է: Այդ իմաստով ես համաձայն եմ Սրբազան հոր հետ, որ հիվանդությունը բուժելու համար սկզբից պետք է ընդունել նրա գոյության փաստը, և ճիշտ ախտորոշում կատարել: Միևնույն ժամանակ, ցանկացած օրգանիզմ բուժելու համար պետք է հենվել այդ օրգանիզմի առկա ուժերի և դիմադրողականության վրա, այլապես եթե հիվանդին անընդհատ միայն ասես, որ նա հիվանդ է, բայց ապաքինվելու հույս ու կոնկրետ բուժում չառաջարկես, նա ի վերջո անձնատուր կլինի հիվանդությանը, և կվախճանվի:

գ) հենց այդ համատեքստի մեջ է պետք դիտարկել այն պնդումը, որ ես գերագնահատում եմ մեր ազգի կարողությունները: Արդեն երկար ժամանակ զբաղվելով հանրային գործունեությամբ, և շփվելով մեր ազգի բազմաթիվ շերտերի և անհատ ներկայացուցիչների հետ, ես տեսել եմ մեր մեջ եղած և դրականը, և բացասականը, և որևէ կերպ ոչ գերագնահատում եմ մեզ, բայց ոչ էլ թերագնահատում: Ես համոզված եմ, որ այս ճգնաժամից մենք դուրս կգանք, հենվելով մեր ունեցած լավագույն անհատների և կառույցների, պատկերավոր ասած՝ մեր ազգային օրգանիզմի առողջ հատվածի վրա, և մինչ այժմ ուժերիս սահմաններում հնարավոր ամենն արել եմ՝ այդ հատվածին մոբիլիզացնելու, ոգևորելու և գործողության մղելու համար: «Հայաքվե» նախաձեռնությունը դրա օրինակներից մեկն է, և եթե այն դեռևս չի հասել ցանկալի արդյունքի, չի նշանակում, որ մենք նրանից պետք է հրաժարվենք՝ ընդհակառակը, պետք է ավելի մեծ համառությամբ շարունակենք մեր գործը, միևնույն ժամանակ ավելի ազդու և արդյունավետ եղանակներ գտնելով այն հաջողության հասցնելու համար:

Այսքանով ցանկանում եմ ավարտել արձագանքս, ևս մեկ անգամ հարգանքներիս խորին հավաստիքը հղելով Սրբազան հորը, և հույս հայտնելով, որ միասնական ջանքերով մենք դուրս կբերենք մեր ազգին այս ճգնաժամային վիճակից ու հարատև զարգացման ուղի կբացենք նրա առաջ: Աստված օգնական բոլորիս:
