ՌԴ ԱԳՆ ՀԱՊԿ հարցերով հատուկ հանձնարարություններով դեսպան Վիկտոր Վասիլևը «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ին տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել է, որ ՀԱՊԿ միջոցառումներին Երևանի չմասնակցելը Հայաստանի ղեկավարության ընտրությունն է, «թեև այն կատարվել է ճնշման ներքո»։ Բացի այդ դիվանագետը նշել է, որ ՌԴ-ն նկատում է այն հանգամանքը, որ Արևմուտքը, օգտագործելով Հայաստանում ստեղծված իրավիճակը, ցանկանում է լարել իրավիճակը ողջ տարածաշրջանում: Ավելի վաղ ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը հայտարարել էր, որ Արեւմուտքը Հավաքական անվտանգության պայմանագրի կազմակերպությունը դիտարկում է որպես սպառնալիք միջազգային ասպարեզում իր գերակայության համար։ Նրա խոսքով՝ Մոսկվան տեսնում է «Արևմուտքի հուսահատ, ագրեսիվ գործողություններ՝ ՀԱՊԿ անդամների շարքերը պառակտելու համար»։

Արևմուտքը չի էլ թաքցնում, որ իր գլխավոր նպատակը Հարավային Կովկասից ՌԴ–ի հեռացումն է և այս նպատակով փորձ է արվում տարածաշրջանն օգտագործել որպես պլացդարմ ընդդեմ Մոսկվայի: Ամիսներ առաջ հրապարակվել է «RAND Corporation»-ի զեկույցը, որը նվիրված է Մոսկվայի ծրագրերը բոլոր հնարավոր ոլորտներում տապալելու մարտավարությանը, առաջին հերթին խոսքը գնում է այն ծրագրերի մասին, որոնք վերաբերվում են ՌԴ–ի ամենամոտ հարևաններին: Դրան հաջորդել էր նաև ամերիկացի սենատոր Ջիմ Ռիշի կոչն ԱՄՆ իշխանություններին՝ ավելի ակտիվ ներգրավվածություն ունենալ Հարավային Կովկասում ընթացող գործընթացներին և դուրս մղել այդտեղից ՌԴ-ին:

Եթե ​​Արևմուտքը զիջի Հարավային Կովկասը Ռուսաստանին, ապա տարածաշրջանի դերը՝ որպես էներգետիկ միջանցք և առևտրային կամուրջ Եվրոպայի և Ասիայի միջև, Մոսկվային լրացուցիչ լծակներ կհաղորդի ԵՄ-ի դեմ և կպահպանի ուժեղ վերահսկողություն սևծովյան ավելի լայն տարածաշրջանի վրա, որի մեջ մտնում են ՆԱՏՕ-ի մի քանի անդամ երկրներ: Նման սցենարը թույլ չտալու նպատակով՝ Արևմուտքը տարածաշրջանը վերածում է ՌԴ–ի հետ աշխարհաքաղաքական առճակատման թատերաբեմի՝ այստեղ լարվածության նոր օջախներ ձևավորելով: Հենց Արևմուտքն է այսօր ճնշում գործադրում ՀՀ իշխանությունների վրա, որպեսզի վերջիններս համաձայնվեն խաղաղության պայմանագրով այսպես կոչված՝ «Զանգեզուրի միջանցք» տրամադրելուն, քանի որ տարանցիկ երթուղիներն արդեն վտանգի տակ են Ուկրաինայում պատերազմի պատճառով։ Գազի եվրոպական գները սրընթաց աճում են այն բանից հետո, երբ Մոսկվան դադարեցրեց «Հյուսիսային հոսք 1» գազամուղի հասանելիությունը, իսկ արեւմտյան պատժամիջոցները խթանել են ամենաառաջնային պարենային ապրանքների գների աճն ամբողջ աշխարհում: Ասել, որ «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» բացումը հարվածելու է ՀՀ կենսական շահերին և անվտանգությանը՝ նշանակում է ոչինչ չանել:

Իսկ ի՞նչ են անում այս իրավիճակում ՀՀ իշխանությունները: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն արդեն անթաքույց թեքվել է դեպի Արևմուտքը և դա արել է մեծամասամբ սեփական իշխանությունը պահպանելու ցանկությունից դրդված, քանի որ Հայաստանին որևէ կոնկրետ անվտանգային ապահովման առաջարկներ Արևմուտքի կողմից չեն հնչել, իսկ ահա Փաշինյանի անձնական անվտանգությունը նրանք, թերևս, կարողանան ապահովել: Պայմանով, իհարկե, որ վերջինս էլ դուրս կբերի Հայաստանը ՌԴ–ի ազդեցության տակից, իհարկե ի հաշիվ հայ ժողովրդի և Հայաստանի անվտանգության և շահերի՝ սկզբում Արցախը, իսկ այժմ էլ Հայաստանը ՌԴ-Արևմուտք շահերի բախման օջախ դարձնելով:
