Բրիտանիայում 7-ամյա աղջիկ է ապրում, ով ցավ չի զգում, չի քնում եւ ոչինչ չի ուտում։ Այս ամենը գենետիկ շեղման հետեւանք է, այս երեք գործողության համար պատասխանատու գենը երեխայի մոտ պարզապես բացակայում է։
7-ամյա Օլիվիա Ֆարնսուորտը բժիշկների ուշադրությունը գրավել է այն բանից հետո, երբ նրա մայրն աղջկան հիվանդանոց է տարել՝ երեխային վրաերթի էր ենթարկել մեքենան։ Սակայն Օլիվիան չի արտասվել, թվում էր՝ դեպքը նրա հետ չի եղել, վեր է կացել տեղից ու շարունակել քայլել։
«Մեքենան նրան հարվածել ու քարշ էր տվել, դա սարսափելի էր, ես ու իմ մյուս երեխաները գոռում էինք, իսկ Օլիվիան զարմացած ասում էր՝ ինչ է պատահել։ Նա հանգիստ վեր կացավ ու քայլեց դեպի ինձ»,- պատմում է մայրը։ Աղջիկը լուրջ վնասվածք չի ստացել, բայց ցավ էլ չի զգացել։ Աշխարհում հազվադեպ մարդիկ կան, որոնք այս երեք գենից որեւէ մեկը չունեն, սակայն աղջնակը միակն է, ով միանգամից երեքն էլ չունի։ Աղջիկը բացարձակ չի ուտում եւ չի քնում։ Մայրը պատմել է, որ նոր ծնված ժամանակվանից Օլիվիան երբեք լաց չի եղել, նորածին ժամանակ քնել է երեք օրը մեկ։
