Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունների ցանկացած բարիդրացիական առաջարկի Ադրբեջանը պատասխանում է ինչպես և սպասելի էր՝ կոշտ վիրավորանքներով և մեղադրանքներով։ Նախօրեին բանակի կազմավորման 32 ամյակին նվիրված միջոցառմանը Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, ի թիվս այլ խնդիրների, անդրադարձել էր նաև հայ-ադրբեջանական հարաբերությունների ապագային, նշել, թե Ադրբեջանին առաջարկել են կնքել սպառազինությունների փոխադարձ վերահսկման պայմանագիր։ Ավելին, առաջարկել են զորքերի հայելային հետքաշում, սահմանի դելիմիտացիա, չհարձակման մասին պայմանագրի ստորագրում, եթե պարզվի, որ խաղաղության պայմանագրի ստորագրումը սպասվածից ավելի երկար ժամանակ է պահանջելու։

Փաշինյանի բոլոր այս խաղաղասիրական, մեղմ, անողնաշար հայտարարություններին Ադրբեջանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի խոսնակ Այհան Հաջիզադեն է պատասխանել, թե՝ «Փաշինյանի հայտարարությունը նպատակ ունի շեղել ուշադրութունը խաղաղության մասին երկկողմ համաձայնագրից և միջպետական հարաբերությունենրի հաստատման գործընթացից»։ Ավելին, Հաջիզադեն հստակ ակնարկել է՝ Սահմանադրության մեջ առկա խնդիրները։ «Ադրբեջանական կողմը հայկական կողմին կոչ է արել վերջ դնել Ադրբեջանի տարածքային ամբողջականության և ինքնիշխանության նկատմամբ ոտնձգություններին, որոնք առկա են ՀՀ Սահմանադրությունում, տարբեր օրենքներում և որոշումներում, պատերազմից հետո տարբեր միջազգային ատյաններին հասցեագրված դիմումներում»,- պնդել է Հաջիզադեն, հավելել, թե այդ ուղղությամբ միջոցներ ձեռնարկելու փոխարեն գործնական նշանակություն չունեցող առաջարկներ հնչեցնելը թյուրիմացություն է ստեղծում և անընդունելի է։

Նախ Ադրբեջանն իր ԱԳՆ խոսնակի մակարդակով պաշտոնապես հաստատում է այն տեղեկությունները, որ իրենք են պահանջել Հայաստանում սահմանադրական փոփոխություններ իրականացնել, և Փաշինյանը պոպուլիստական ձևակերպումներով փորձում է սվաղել իրականությունը, երկրորդն էլ Ադրբեջանը պարզ և հստակ ակնարկում է, որ որևէ շրջանակային, նախնական, եթե կուզեք հիմնական, խաղաղության պայմանագիր կնքելու միտված չէ, ընդհակառակը, փորձելու է օգտվել հնարավորինս թե՛ աշխարհաքաղաքական իրավիճակից և թե՛ Հայաստանում փաշինյանական վարչախմբի գոյության փաստից՝ նորանոր զիջումներ ուզելու մեր երկրից։
