Հանրապետության նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանը Հնդկաստանի ազգային տոնի կապակցությամբ ընդունել է Հայաստանում Հնդկաստանի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Նիլակշի Սահա Սինհանին:

Ողջունելով դեսպանին նախագահը շնորհավորել է նրան և Հնդկաստանի ժողովրդին Հանրապետության օրվա կապակցությամբ և շարունակական զարգացում և բարգավաճում մաղթել, ինչին ի պատասխան դեսպան Նիլակշի Սահա Սինհանին շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ընդունելության և ջերմ մաղթանքների համար:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են Հայաստանի և Հնդկաստանի համար երկկողմ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող օրակարգային հարցեր: Այս կապակցությամբ նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանը նշել է, որ անցած 2023 թվականը նշանակալի տարի էր երկու երկրների հարաբերությունների սերտացման տեսանկյունից և հույս է հայտնել, որ առաջիկայում հայ-հնդկական համագործակցությունը շարունակական բնույթ կկրի և առավել կընդլայնվի:

Դեսպանն իր խոսքում ընդգծել է, որ ի դեմս Հայաստանի Հնդկաստանը տեսնում է բարեկամ և գործընկեր երկրի, որի հետ փոխգործակցությունը դինամիկ զարգացում է ապրում:

Զրույցի ընթացքում անդրադարձ է կատարվել հայ-հնդկական բազմոլորտ համագործակցության հետագա զարգացման ուղղություններին և հեռանկարներին: Մասնավորապես շեշտվել է տնտեսական, բժշկական, բարձր տեխնոլոգիաների և այլ ոլորտներում առկա փոխգործակցային ներուժի լիարժեք կյանքի կոչման անհրաժեշտությունը:

Երկուստեք բարձր են գնահատվել անվտանգության և ռազմական ոլորտներում փոխշահավետ գործակցությունն ու այս ուղղությամբ ներդրված ջանքերը:

Զրուցակիցները գոհունակությամբ արձանագրել են միջազգային հարթակներում երկու երկրների միջև առկա սերտ համագործակցությունը: Կարևորվել են նաև երկրների բաձր ղեկավարության փոխայցելությունները, որոնք նոր խթան կհանդիսանան հարաբերությունների հետագա խորացման համար:

Հանդիպմանը մտքեր են փոխանակվել տարածաշրջանային ընդհանուր իրողությունների և կայուն խաղաղության հաստատման հեռանկարի շուրջ: Հանրապետության նախագահն այս համատեքստում վերահաստատել է տարածաշրջանում վերջնական խաղաղության հասնելու Հայաստանի դիրքորոշումը, ինչպես նաև անդրադարձել է Հայաստանի կողմից առաջ քաշված «Խաղաղության խաչմերուկ» հայեցակարգին:

Զրույցի ընթացքում անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաև ժողովրդավարական բարեփոխումների և արժեքների ամրապնդման և ժողովրդավարության ինստիտուտների կայացման կարևորությանը:
