Նեպալը խնդրել է Ռուսաստանին հետ ուղարկել Նեպալի հարյուրավոր քաղաքացիների, որոնք հավաքագրվել են Ուկրաինայի դեմ կռվելու համար և հայրենիք վերադարձնել հակամարտության ընթացքում զոհվածների մարմինները, ասել է Նեպալի արտաքին գործերի նախարարը։
Նարայան Պրակաշ Սաուդը Associated Press-ին տված հարցազրույցում ասել է, որ ռուսական բանակը հավաքագրել է ավելի քան 200 քաղաքացու՝ Ուկրաինայում կռվելու համար, և նրանցից առնվազն 14-ը զոհվել են այնտեղ։
«Մենք Ռուսաստանին խնդրել ենք անհապաղ դադարեցնել Նեպալի քաղաքացիների հավաքագրումը իրենց բանակում, անհապաղ վերադարձնել նրանց, ովքեր արդեն ծառայում են բանակում, հայրենադարձել սպանվածների մարմինները, ինչպես նաև բուժել և վերադարձնել նրանց, ովքեր վիրավորվել են մարտերում»,- ասել է Սաուդը։
Նեպալը նաև դրամական փոխհատուցում է պահանջում Ռուսաստանից այն նեպալցիների ընտանիքների համար, որոնք զոհվել են մարտերում, ասել է Սաուդը:
«Մենք տեղեկություններ ունենք, որ ռուսների կողմից կռված մեր հինգ քաղաքացի գտնվում են ուկրաինական կողմի գերության մեջ։ Մենք խնդրում ենք ռուսական կողմին քայլեր ձեռնարկել նրանց ազատելու համար»,- ասել է Սաուդը:
Ռուսաստանի օրենսդրությունը թույլ է տալիս օտարերկրյա քաղաքացիներին զորակոչվել բանակ՝ պաշտպանության նախարարության հետ պայմանագիր կնքելուց հետո:
