В ноябре прошлого года на Парламентской ассамблее ОДКБ армянские делегаты отказались поддержать одну из представленных Россией форм, в которой осуждали Канаду за проявление благосклонного отношения к одному нацисту.

Армянская сторона заявила, что Канада является союзным государством, и они не желают присоединяться к этому пункту заявления. Между тем, официальный сайт АРФД вчера сообщил, что Канада может отменить эмбарго на продажу военной продукции, введенное против Турции. Этот шаг может быть предпринят в рамках соглашения о членстве Швеции в НАТО. Комитет «ХАЙ ДАТ» призвал правительство Канады проявить максимальную осторожность и отдать приоритет региональной стабильности, миру и правам человека.

Еще во время войны Турция закупала у Канады ряд деталей, используемых в турецких дронах, а после того, как эта информация стала известна, власти Канады объявили эмбарго на продажу военной продукции Турции. Эту информацию нынешняя власть Армении восприняла очень радушно, они даже объявляли Канаду новым союзником, тогда, как один этот эпизод доказывает, что один из ведущих западных государств преследует только свои интересы как в торговых отношениях с Турцией, так и в контактах с Арменией, и о проявлениях искренней дружбы не может быть и речи.
