Կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի և սպորտի նախարար Ժաննա Անդրեասյանը շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Կրթության միջազգային օրվա կապակցությամբ։ Ուղերձում ասվում է․

«Հարգելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,

ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի ընդունած բանաձևով հունվարի 24-ը հռչակվել է Կրթության միջազգային օր՝ ի նշանավորումն համաշխարհային խաղաղության և կայուն զարգացման ապահովման գործում կրթության դերի։ Կարծում եմ՝ այս գաղափարն ավելի քան արդիական է, և այն մղում է ավելի մեծ ջանքերով ամրապնդել կրթության հիմքերը, արժևորել դրա դերն ու հիմնարար նշանակությունը հասարակությունների և պետությունների զարգացման, ներդաշնակ հարաբերությունների ձևավորման և կայացման գործում։

Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը կրթական տարբեր մակարդակներում բարեփոխումների փուլում է գտնվում, և մենք արդեն հասցրել ենք արձանագրել մեր առաջին հաջողությունները, որոնք բազմապատկվելու են շարունակական աշխատանքի, միասնականության և համառ ջանքերի շնորհիվ։ Մենք հավատում ենք, որ այսօրվա համախումբ աշխատանքը վաղվա բարեկեցության, իրավագիտակից հանրության, կայուն զարգացման գրավականն է։

Մենք հանրապետության բոլոր դպրոցներում փուլային եղանակով ներդրել ենք հանրակրթության նոր չափորոշիչը` որակյալ կրթություն ապահովելու տեսլականով, ակտիվ աշխատանքներ ենք տանում «Ակադեմիական քաղաք» ծրագրի իրականացման ուղղությամբ` միջազգային չափանիշներին համահունչ բուհական համակարգ և ենթակառուցվածքներ ունենալու նպատակով:

Հենց այսօր` Կրթության միջազգային օրը, Ազգային ժողովում օրենսդիր գործընկերների հետ համատեղ լսումներ ենք իրականացնում «Մասնագիտական կրթության և ուսուցման մասին» նոր օրենքի նախագծի վերաբերյալ:

Նախորդ տարի՝ բարեփոխումներին զուգահեռ, մենք կարողացանք առանց համակարգային շեղումների ապահովել նաև Լեռնային Ղարաբաղից բռնի տեղահանված մեր հայրենակիցների կրթության իրավունքի շարունակականությունը։ Դեռ բազում անելիքներ կան այս ուղղությամբ, և երկար ճանապարհ ունենք անցնելու։

Մեր հասարակությունը մշտապես առանձնակի կարևորությամբ է մոտենում կրթության ոլորտում իրականացվող բոլոր գործընթացներին`դրանց նկատմամբ ցուցաբերելով ընդգծված ուշադրություն: Այսպիսի հանրային ուշադրությունն ավելի է մեծացնում կրթության առանցքային դերակատարների պատասխանատվությունը մեր երեխաների ապագայի և պետության զարգացման հանդեպ:

Մաղթում եմ, որ երբեք չփոխենք մեր պատկառելի վերաբերմունքը կրթության կարևորության հանդեպ, շարունակենք ինքնակրթվել ու կրթությամբ վարակել մեր շրջապատը` հավատով, որ հենց կրթությամբ ենք կարողանալու փոխել և ավելի լավը դարձնել հասարակությունն ու պետությունը»։
