Հայաստանի թավշյա իշխանությունների՝ երկրի նոր Սահմանադրություն ընդունելու ծրագրերի մասին շատ բան է ասվել, և գրեթե բոլոր վերլուծաբանները համակարծիք են, որ այս գործընթացի նախաձեռնումը երկու պատճառ ունի։

Առաջինը՝ Հայաստանի ներկայիս Սահմանադրության գաղափարախոսության մեջ «ազգային պետություն» սկզբունքի ոչնչացումն է և թուրք-ադրբեջանական տանդեմի կողմից Արցախը կլանելու փաստացի օրինականացումը (համաձայնությունը), Հայաստանի սահմանների փոփոխության օրինականացումը, Սահմանադրության տեքստից ցանկացած պատմական կամ էթնիկ նախաբանի ջնջումը, Հայոց ցեղասպանության հիշատակման, հայ ժողովրդի պատմության մեջ Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցու դերի ջնջումը, Հայաստանի զինանշանի խմբագրումը՝ Սուրբ Արարատ լեռան հայկական ինքնության խորհրդանիշի պարտադիր ջնջմամբ, Հայաստանի արտաբլոկային կարգավիճակ (ՀԱՊԿ- ից դուրս գալու Սահմանադրական պահանջ փաստացի)։ 

Միանշանակ է, որ փաշինյանական իշխանության այս ծրագրերը թելադրված են բացառապես Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի կողմից, և այստեղ պետք չէ տրվել իշխանությունների «խորիմաստ ճառերին»։ 

ՀՀ այսօրվա իշխանությունը ընդամենը կատարում է այն երկրների կամքը, որոնց պետական դոկտրինը կառուցված է Հայաստանի՝ որպես պետության եւ հայերի` որպես տարածաշրջանի էթնո-քաղաքական տարրի չեզոքացման շուրջ։
Այսինքն՝ ունենք միանշանակ պատկեր, որ նոր սահմանադրության անհրաժեշտությունը թելադրված է թուրք-ադրբեջանական տանդեմի շահերով։

Երկրորդ պատճառը Հայաստանի թավշյա իշխանությունների փորձն է երկրի հիմնական օրենքը վերաձևելու միջոցով նպաստավոր պայմաններ ստեղծել իրենց իշխանության գոյությունը երկարացնելու համար։ Դա կլինի Հայաստանի մնացորդների վրա կառավարման նախագահական ձևին վերադառնալու ճանապարհով կամ որևէ այլ ձևով էությունը կարևոր չէ։

Ներկայիս իշխանությունները թքած ունեն, թե ինչ է լինելու երկրի տարածքային ամբողջականության հետ, իրենց համար կարևոր չէ, թե արդյունքում քանի կիլոմետր է մնալու Հայաստանից իրենց «խաղաղության դարաշրջանից» հետո, դա նրանց չի հետաքրքրում։ Նրանց մտահոգում է միայն այն, թե ով է կառավարելու երկրի մնացորդները։
Հայաստանում ներկայիս թավշյա իշխանավորների կողմից իշխանության կորուստը անխուսափելիորեն բերելու է արդար «հարցերի» (մեղմ ասած) նրանց հակահայ քաղաքականությանը, և ահա դրանից են նրանք ամենից շատ վախենում։
