Աբխազիայի պետական պատկերասրահում բռնկված հրդեհից հաջողվել է փրկել չորս հազար նկարներից շուրջ 150-ը: Այդ մասին «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ին հայտնել Է Աբխազիայի մշակույթի նախարարի ժամանակավոր պաշտոնակատար Դինարա Սմիրը:
Հունվարի լույս 21-ի գիշերը տեղի ունեցած հրդեհը ոչնչացրել Է Աբխազիայի պետական պատկերասրահի գրեթե ողջ ֆոնդը, ավելի վաղ հայտնել էր հանրապետության փոխնախագահ Բադրա Գունբան՝ մանրամասնելով, որ դա լուրջ կորուստ Է Աբխազիայի մշակույթի համար: Г Հանրապետության գլխավոր դատախազությունը հրդեհի փաստով ստուգում է անցկացնում՝ դրա պատճառը պարզելու համար։ Պատկերասրահի տնօրեն Սուրամ Սաքանիան գործակալությանը հայտնել է, որ դրա շենքում ավելի քան 4000 նկար է պահվել, որոնք «եթե չեն էլ այրվել, ապա վերականգնման կարիք կունենան»:

Ինչպես հավելել Է Դինարա Սմիրը, հայտնի էր, թե ինչ տեխնիկական վիճակում է գտնվում պատկերասրահը, սակայն դրա վերանորոգման համար գումար չի եղել: «Մենք բոլորս գիտենք, որ պատկերասրահը պետք է այլ կերպ հագեցած լիներ, բայց վերանորոգման համար միջոցներ, ցավոք, դեռ չեն եղել։ Բայց բողոքներով, որ պատկերասրահում հրդեհային ազդանշան չկա, մեզ ոչ ոք չի դիմել», - գործակալությանը հայտնել է Սմիրը։
