Հայաստանը չի ցանկանում Սյունիքի մարզում ռուս սահմանապահների տեղակայում՝ իր տարածքով Ադրբեջանից Նախիջևան տանող ճանապարհի տրամադրման համատեքստում,  2023 թվականին ռուսական դիվանագիտության արդյունքներին նվիրված մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ ասել է ՌԴ արտգործնախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը։

Նախարարի խոսքով՝ հենց Հայաստանն է դժվարություններ ունենում Սյունքով երթուղու բացման հարցում, ինչպես նշված է նոյեմբերի իննի պայմանագրում։

«Նրանք չեն ցանկանում, որ ռուս սահմանապահներն այնտեղ տեղակայվեն։ Չնայած սա արձանագրվել ու ստորագրել է վարչապետ Փաշինյանը, միայն իրենք (լինեն-Խմբ.): Չի ցանկանում, որ չեզոք մաքսային և սահմանային հսկողություն լինի... և դա հակասում է նրան, ինչի շուրջ մենք պայմանավորվել ենք»,- ասել է Լավրովը։

Նա ընդգծել է, որ շատ ցավալի է, որ Հայաստանի համար այդքան պրակտիկ և շահավետ Սյունիքի մարզով երթուղու բացումը մինչև հիմա շարունակում է թղթի վրա մնալ:

«Ամենայն հարգանքով՝ ես դրա պատճառ եմ տեսնում Երևանի դիրոքորոշումը»,-մանրամասնել է ՌԴ ԱԳՆ ղեկավարը՝ ենթադրելով, որ ինչ-որ մեկը համապատասխան խորհուրդներ է տալիս Երևանին:

Այս համատեքստում նա նշել է ԱՄՆ-ն, Ֆրանսիան և ԵՄ-ն, որոնք, ըստ Լավրովի, սկսել են առանց հրավերի միջամտել Մոսկվայի միջնորդությամբ Երևան-Բաքու հարաբերությունների կարգավորման գործընթացին:

 
«Բոլոր հիմքերն ունեմ ասելու, որ Արևմուտքը չի ցանկում, որ կյանքի կոչվեն Մոսկվայի միջնորդությամբ Երևանի և Բաքվի միջև ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունները»,- ասել է Լավրովը:
