Շատ ցավալի է, որ Հայաստանի համար այնպիսի շահավետ իրավիճակը, ինչպիսին Սյունիքի մարզով երթուղու բացումն է, մինչ օրս մնում է թղթի վրա։ Մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ նման կարծիք է հայտնել ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը:
«Ես պատճառը տեսնում եմ Երևանի դիրքորոշման մեջ։ Չգիտեմ՝ ով է Երևանին խորհուրդներ տալիս։ ԵՄ-ն, Ֆրանսիան, Գերմանիան, ԱՄՆ-ը հենց հասկացան, որ ռուս-հայ-ադրբեջանական գործընթացն արդյունք է տալիս, անմիջապես սկսեցին առանց հրավերի ներխուժել այդ գործընթացներ։ Բոլոր հիմքերը կան ասելու, որ Արևմուտքը չի ցանկանում թույլ տալ, որ այն պայմանավորվածությունները, որոնք Ռուսաստանի միջնորդությամբ կնքվել են Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև, իրականություն դառնան»,- նշել է Լավրովը:
Նա Հայաստանին է մեղադրել ճանապարհային անվտանգության ապահովման առումով նոր պահանջներ առաջադրելու համար, նշել, թե Երևանը չի ուզում, որ այնտեղ կանգնեն ռուս սահմանապահները, որ լինի չեզոք սահմանային և մաքսային հսկողություն։
ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարարն անդրադարձել է նաև սահմանազատման հարցերին, նշել. «Կողմերը պայմանավորվածություն են ստորագրել, որ իրենք սահմանազատման հանձնաժողով են ստեղծում, որին որպես խորհրդատու մասնակցելու է ռուսական կողմը։ Մեզ այնտեղ չեն հրավիրում։ Շառլ Միշելը հայտարարել է, որ սահմանազատմամբ զբաղվելու է ԵՄ-ն, թեև ԵՄ-ն չի կարող քարտեզներ ունենալ, դրանք ունի ՌԴ-ն: ԵՄ-ն և ԱՄՆ-ը ցանկանում են սահմանազատել սահմանը օվկիանոսի այն կողմից: Նրանց մոտ ինչ-որ կերպ հայտնվել են ԽՍՀՄ Գլխավոր շտաբի քարտեզները։ Ցավալի է, որ արևմտյան նկրտումները խանգարում են Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի շահերի իրագործմանը»:
