Ադրբեջանի խորհրդարանն առաջարկել է դադարեցնել բոլոր տնտեսական հարաբերությունները Ֆրանսիայի հետ, ինչպես նաև բարձրացնել Կորսիկայի անկախության ճանաչման հարցը։ Ադրբեջանի խորհրդարանի միջազգային հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովը հայտարարություն է ընդունել՝ ի պատասխան Բաքվի դեմ պատժամիջոցների մասին Ֆրանսիայի Սենատի փաստաթղթի։
«Սանկցիաներ կիրառեք Ֆրանսիայի դեմ: Եթե հայտնաբերվի, ապա Ադրբեջանում ֆրանսիացի պաշտոնյաների ցանկացած ակտիվ պետք է սառեցվի: Դադարեցրեք բոլոր տնտեսական հարաբերությունները Ֆրանսիայի հետ: Բոլոր ֆրանսիական ընկերությունները, ներառյալ Total-ը, պետք է արտաքսվեն Ադրբեջանից: Արգելեք ֆրանսիական ընկերություններին մասնակցել պետական նախագծերին: Ադրբեջանի ԱԳՆ-ն քայլեր ձեռնարկել՝ ճանաչելու Կանակայի, Մաոհի Նուիի և Կորսիկայի անկախությունը»,- ասված է հաղորդագրությունում։
Անցյալ տարեվերջին Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը հայտարարել էր, որ 2020 թվականից մինչ օրս Ֆրանսիայի ղեկավարությունը Ադրբեջանի նկատմամբ «կործանարար և սադրիչ» դիրքորոշում է որդեգրել։ Օրեր առաջ Ֆրանսիայի Սենատը 336 կողմ և մեկ դեմ ձայների հարաբերակցությամբ ընդունել է բանաձեւ, որով կոչ է անում պատժամիջոցներ սահմանել Ադրբեջանի դեմ։
