Հունվարի 11-ին, ժամը 23-ին, ՆԳՆ ոստիկանության Կոտայքի մարզի օպերատիվ կառավարման կենտրոն ահազանգած քաղաքացին հայտնում էր, որ Արամուս գյուղում կռիվ է, խնդրում է` ոստիկան մոտենա։ Մինչ բաժնի օպերատիվ խումբը շտապում էր Արամուս`ժամը 23.39-ին նոր հաղորդում է ստացվում արդեն «Աբովյան» բժշկական կենտրոնից. Արամուս գյուղից շտապօգնության խումբը բուժօգնության էր տեղափոխել 1977 թ. ծնված մի տղամարդու։
Վնասվածքը հրազենային էր. բժիշկները հանել են գնդակը: Դեպքի վայրում հայտնաբերվել է մեկ պարկուճ:
Ձեռնարկված օպերատիվ-հետախուզական միջոցառումների և քննչական գործողությունների արդյունքում ճշտվել է 47-ամյա տղամարդուն հրազենային վնասվածք պատճառողի ինքնությունը: Նա հայտնաբերվել է Ջրվեժ թաղամասի հյուրանոցներից մեկում, ձերբակալվել և տեղափոխվել է ոստիկանության Կոտայքի բաժին: Անձնական խուզարկությամբ նրա մոտ հայտնաբերվել է CZ-75 տիպի մարտական ատրճանակ` 16 փամփուշտ փամփշտակալում, մեկ փամփուշտ էլ փողում:
