Թատրոնի և կինոյի բրիտանացի հայտնի դերասան Ալան Ռիքմենը, ով առավել հայտնի է իր կողմից մարմնավորած չարագործների կերպարներով, իր տաղանդով հիացնում էր գործընկերներին ու հանդիսատեսին։ Դերասանը կյանքից հեռացավ 2016թ․-ի հունվարի 14-ին, ինչն անսպասելի հարված էր նրա ընկերների ու գործընկերների համար։ Դենիել Ռեդքլիֆը, ով հանդիպել էր Ռիքմենին «Հարի Փոթերը» ֆիլմի նկարահանումների ժամանակ, դերասանի մահվանից հետո «Google +»-ի իր էջում հուզիչ նամակ է հրապարակել իր բարի ընկերոջ մասին։

Ալան Ռիքմեն, անկասկած մեծագույն դերասաններից մեկը, ում հետ երբևէ հնարավորություն եմ ունեցել աշխատել։ Նա նաև ամենանվիրված ու աջակցող մարդկանցից մեկն էր, ում ես հանդիպել եմ կինոարդյունաբերության մեջ։ Ալանը միշտ աջակցել է ինձ, ինչպես նկարահանումների ժամանակ, այնպես էլ «Փոթերի» վերջին ֆիլմից հետո, շատ տարիների ընթացքում։ Ես համոզված եմ, որ նա եկել ու դիտել է այն բոլոր ներկայացումները, որոնք ես խաղացել եմ Լոնդոնում և Նյու Յորքում, մինչդեռ նա ամենևին էլ պարտավոր չէր դա անել։ Ես ճանաչում եմ նրա հետ ինձնից ավելի երկար ժամանակ ընկերություն անող մարդկանց, և նրանք բոլորն ասում էին. «Եթե դու կանչես Ալանին, կարևոր չէ, աշխարհի որ ծայրում է նա կամ թե որքան զբաղված է իր գործերով, նա մի օրվա մեջ կհասնի քեզ»։

Մարդիկ դերասանների մասին պատկերացումները ստեղծում են նրանց խաղացած դերերի հիման վրա, այնպես որ՝ որոշ մարդիկ հնարավոր է զարմանան, երբ իմանան, որ չնայած նրա կերտած կերպարներից շատերը բավականին մռայլ են եղել (կամ ավելի անկեղծ՝ ահասարսուռ), նա չափազանց բարի, առատաձեռն, ինքն իրեն քննադատող ու զվարճալի մարդ էր։ Եվ որոշ բաներ ակնհայտորեն ավելի զվարճալի էին դառնում, երբ նա այդ ամենը ներկայացնում էր իր ձայնի անվրեպ բամբ տեմբրով։

Որպես դերասան՝ նա մեծահասակներից առաջինն էր «Փոթերում», ով ինձ վերաբերվում էր ինչպես գործընկերոջ և ոչ թե ինչպես երեխայի։ Նրա հետ այսպիսի վաղ հասակից աշխատելը չափազանց կարևոր էր ինձ համար, և ես իմ ողջ կյանքի ընթացքում ու կարիերայում կհիշեմ այն դասերը, որոնք նա տվել է ինձ։ Կինոն ու թատրոնն այժմ ավելի աղքատ են մեծագույն դերասանի ու մարդու կորստով։
