Ջոն Տրավոլտայի հուզիչ նամակն իր մահացած որդուն

7 տարի առաջ Ջոն Տրավոլտայի ընտանիքում դժբախտություն տեղի ունեցավ, մահացավ նրա 16-ամյա որդին` Ջեթը: Տղան տառապում էր Կավասակիի համախտանիշով (սուր թոքաբորբ, որը քայքայում է մկանային համակարգը):
Եվ ահա 7 տարի անց Ջոն Տրավոլան որդուն նամակ է գրել, նամակ, որն առանց հուզվելու անհնար է կարդալ:
«Ասում են,թե կյանքում ամենածանր բանը ծնողներին կորցնելն է: Ես ձեզ հավաստիացնում եմ, դա այդպես չէ: Այս աշխարհում ամենածանր բանը երեխային կորցնելն է: Կորցնել նրան, ում դու ես կյանք պարգևել, մեծացրել, ուրախացել նրա ամեն քայլով ու սրտի տրոփյունով սպասել ամեն հաջորդ քայլին:
Իմ որդին ինձ համար ամեն ինչ էր: 16 տարվա ընթացքում նա ինձ սովորեցրել էր ՍԻՐԵԼ, սիրել անսահման:
Կյանքը կարճ է: Երեխաներ, ժամանակ անցկացրեք ձեր ծնողների հետ: Ծնողներ, ժամանակ անցկացրեք ձեր երեխաների հետ: Որովհետև մեկ օր էլ, երբ դուք գլուխներդ վեր բարձրացնեք ձեր հեռախոսներից, նրանք էլ ձեր կողքը չեն լինի:
Միակ բանը, որ ես իմ կյանքի ընթացքում սովորեցի այս դաժան կորսից հետո, դա անսահման սիրելն է ու գնահատելը ունեցածդ: Սիրեք այնպես, ասես այսօր մեռնելու եք:
