Խոր ցավով տեղեկացնում ենք, որ հունվարի 3-ին, կյանքի 89-րդ տարում վախճանվել է Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի երիցագույն միաբաններից Գերաշնորհ Տ. Արիս արքեպիսկոպոս Շիրվանյանը:
Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը ու Մայր Աթոռի ողջ միաբանությունը սգում են բազմավաստակ եկեղեցականի՝ Տ․ Արիս արքեպիսկոպոս Շիրվանյանի մահը և աղոթում նրա հոգու հանգստության համար։
Հունվարի 7-ին՝ ժամը 18:00-ին, Սուրբ Գայանե վանքում կկատարվի հանգուցյալ Սրբազան Հոր եկեղեցու կարգը։
Հունվարի 8-ին՝ ժամը 10։00-ին, հընթացս Սուրբ Պատարագի կկատարվի Արիս արքեպիսկոպոսի վերջին օծման արարողությունը, ապա հուղարկավորությունը Մայր Աթոռի միաբանական գերեզմանատանը:
Յիշատակն արդարոյն օրհնութեամբ եղիցի։
 
ԿԵՆՍԱԳՐՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ
 
Գերաշնորհ Տ․ Արիս արքեպիսկոպոս Շիրվանյանը (ավազանի անունով` Արմենակ) ծնվել է 1934 թ. հուլիսի 23-ին Հայֆայում (Պաղեստին, այժմյան Իսրայելի տարածք): Նախնական կրթությունը ստացել է Հայֆայի Սուրբ Եղիա նախակրթական դպրոցում, ապա` Լիբանանի Բուրջ Համուդի Սրբոց Քառասուն Մանկանց վարժարանում:
1952-1957 թթ. ուսանել է Երուսաղեմի Հայոց Պատրիարքության Սրբոց Ժառանգավորաց վարժարանում, որն ավարտելուց հետո ձեռնադրվել է կուսակրոն քահանա՝ անդամագրվելով Երուսաղեմի Սրբոց Հակոբյանց միաբանությանը:
1964թ. ուսանել է Դարեմի (Անգլիա) համալսարանի աստվածաբանության ֆակուլտետում՝ ստանալով աստվածաբանության բակալավրի աստիճան:
1964 - 1966 թթ. ուսանել է Փարիզի կաթոլիկ համալսարանում:
• Եկեղեցական կոչումներ և ձեռնադրություններ
1954 թ. - սարկավագ՝ ձեռամբ Տ. Եղիշե արքեպիսկոպոս Տերտերյանի։
1957 թ. - կուսակրոն քահանա՝ ձեռամբ Տիրան արքեպիսկոպոս Ներսոյանի:
1964թ. մասնավոր վարդապետության 4 աստիճաններ՝ ձեռամբ Տ. Ասողիկ եպիսկոպոս Ղազարյանի:
1972 թ. - ծայրագույն վարդապետության աստիճան՝ ձեռամբ Տ. Վաչե արքեպիսկոպոս Հովսեփյանի:
1974 թ. – եպիսկոպոս՝ ձեռամբ Վազգեն Ա Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի։
2006թ. - արքության պատիվ՝ Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի Հայրապետական Կոնդակով։

1957թ. - Երուսաղեմի Ժառանգավորաց վարժարանի փոխտեսուչ և դասախոս։
1958թ. - հոգևոր հովիվ Ամմանի (Հորդանան) Ս. Թադեոս հայկական եկեղեցու։ Տնօրեն Հեթումյան հայկական դպրոցի:
1966թ. - Լոս Անջելեսի (ԱՄՆ ) Ս. Հակոբ հայկական եկեղեցու հոգևոր հովիվ:
1972 - 1974թթ. – դասախոս, փոխտեսուչ, ապա` տեսուչ Ս. Էջմիածնի Գևորգյան հոգևոր ճեմարանի։
1975 - 1979թթ. - Կանադայի հայոց թեմի առաջնորդական փոխանորդ:
1979 - 1980թթ. - Կալկաթայի հայկական ճեմարանի տեսուչ։
1998 - 1999 թթ. - Երուսաղեմի Ժառանգավորաց վարժարանի տեսուչ:
2012թ․ - Երուսաղեմի Հայոց Պատրիարքության պատրիարքական տեղապահ։
2013թ․ - Երուսաղեմի Հայոց Պատրիարքության էկումենիկ և արտաքին հարաբերությունների բաժնի տնօրեն և մամլո խոսնակ:
