Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում ԱՊՀ երկրների ղեկավարների հանդիպման շրջանակում Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի և Հայաստանի վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի ոչ պաշտոնական զրույցն ադրբեջանական կողմը գնահատում է արդյունավետ և կառուցողական փոխգործակցություն։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահի օգնական Հիքմեթ Հաջիևը։
Նա նշել է, որ այն «նպաստում է երկու երկրների միջև խաղաղության օրակարգի առաջմղմանը»։
Հաջիևը բարձր է գնահատել Հայաստանի վարչապետի աշխատակազմի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահի վարչակազմի՝ դեկտեմբերի 7-ի համատեղ հայտարարությունը, «որի համաձայն՝ Ադրբեջանն ազատ է արձակել 32 հայ զինծառայողների, իսկ Հայաստանը՝ 2 ադրբեջանցի զինծառայողների»:
Ըստ ադրբեջանական կողմի՝ դա «պատմական հայտարարություն» է եղել, և որ այն ցույց տվեց, որ «եթե կողմերը միասին աշխատեն, վստահեն իրար, առաջընթացն ապահովված է»:
Հիքմեթ Հաջիևը ողջունել է «երրորդ երկրների ցանկությունը՝ նպաստելու կարգավորման գործընթացին, բայց խաղաղության հաստատման համար պատասխանատու են Հայաստանը և Ադրբեջանը»:
Նա կարևորել է «3+3 խորհրդատվական հարթակը», ընդգծել «Հարավային կովկասում խնդիրները տարածաշրջանային դերակատարների ներգրավմամբ լուծելու կարևորությունը»:
Բացի այդ չի բացառել այլ հարթակներում հայ-ադրբեջանական բանակցություններ շարունակելը:
Հաջիևը նաև մտահոգություն է հայտնել, որ «Հայաստանը դեմ է իր տարածքով «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» բացմանը»:
«Այդ իսկ պատճառով մենք այլընտրանքային ճանապարհ ենք ընտրել՝ Իրանի տարածքով»,- ընդգծել է Հաջիևը:
Նա մեղադրել է Ֆրանսիային՝ «տարածաշրջանում անկայունություն սերմանելու և Հայաստանին ռազմական աջակցություն տրամադրելու համար»:
