Կոռուպցիան Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունների համար լրջագույն խնդիր է դարձել։ Հայաստանում համակարգային կոռուպցիան արմատախիլ անելու մասին հայտարարությունները Փաշինյանի վարչախմբին ուղեկցում են արդեն 5 տարի շարունակ, սակայն նա նույնիսկ իր հանդեպ չափազանց դրական տրամադրված արևմտյան կազմակերպություններին և կառույցներին չի կարողանում համոզել Հայաստանում կոռուպցիայի մասին իր կեղծ թեզերի մեջ, այժմ էլ խորագույն խնդիրների է բախվում, երբ մի շարք միջազգային առաջատար կառույցներ բացահայտ հայտարարել են, որ Հայաստանում կոռուպցիան ոչ միայն արմատախիլ չի արվել, այլև ավելի է խորացել։

Ընդսմին, Փաշինյանն այս հանգամանքը փորձում է օգտագործել սեփական թիմում հարցերը լուծելու համար՝ ազատվելով այն անձանցից, որոնց հավատարմությանն առանձնապես չի հավատում։ Իհարկե, առաջիկայում շատերը պատժվելու և հեռացվելու են, սակայն սուտ կլինի կարծել, թե հեռացվելու են բացառապես կոռուպցիոներները, իսկ «անբասիրները» մնալու են իրենց պաշտոններում, ընդհակառակը Փաշինյանի թիմում գրեթե չկոռումպացված պաշտոնյա չի մնացել, այն էլ, եթե այդպիսիները կան, ապա պարզապես անճարակներ են։

Գործող իշխանությունը վաղուց այլևս գերազանցել է իր նախորդներին կոռուպցիայի մակարդակով ու այժմ, ընդամենը Փաշինյանը ցանկանում է իշխանության գերկենտրոնացում իրականացնել, հեռացնել անցանկալի և անհուսալի տարրերին, իսկ միջազգային կառույցների զեկույցներն ընդամենն օգտագործում է սեփական քաղաքական նպատակահարմարության համար։
