«Ժողովուրդ»-ին հայտնի դարձավ, որ Սյունիքի մարզպետ Սուրիկ Խաչատրյանի որդիների և եղբոր մասնակցությամբ Գորիսի Սդղլի գյոլ կոչվող տարածքում դաժան ծեծի ենթարկված Ջաքարյան եղբայրներից Հարություն Զաքարյանը 2 օր առաջ վերադարձել է Հայաստան: Նա, ինչպես հայտնի է, ծեծի արդյունքում կորցրել է մեկ աչքի տեսողությունը, և դեռևս մայիսին նրան տեղափոխել էին Մոսկվա՝ բուժման համար: Բայց ոչ մի արդյունք, նրա աչքը չի տեսնելու: Բայց Հարություն Զաքարյանի վերադարձն այս գործի համար կարևոր է, քանի որ համարվում է, որ Ս. Խաչատրյանի որդուն մեղադրանք առաջադրել-չառաջադրելը, ինչպես նաև մեղադրանքի բնույթը պայմանավորված կլինի նրա ցուցմունքով: «Ժողովուրդ»-ի տեղեկություններով՝ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի քննիչները մարզպետի որդուն վկայի կարգավիճակում պահելու փաստը մինչ այս պարզաբանում էին հենց այն հանգամանքով, որ գործով հիմնական տուժողը Հայաստանում չէր և ցուցմունք չի տվել: Ուստի ենթադրվում է, որ առաջիկայում Տիգրան Խաչատրյանին մեղադրանք կառաջադրվի»,–գրում է թերթը։
