«Արա Մարտիրոսյանին ճանաչել եմ վաղուց, բայց մեր համագործակցությունը սկսվեց 2018թ․-ին թվականին՝ «40 Градусов» դուետի շրջանակում։ Դրանից երկու տարի առաջ ամեն անգամ հանդիպելիս ասում էր՝ «մենք պետք է դուետ երգենք, դա շատ ուժեղ է լինելու», իր քույրն էլ հիշեց, որ Արան ասում էր՝ «կարատե պետք ա անենք»։ Բոլորն էին հասկանում, որ մեր ձայները, էներգետիկան շատ նման էր իրար, հզոր ստացվեց մեր աշխատանքը։ Ի դեպ, պետք է նշեմ, որ մեզ ձայնագրել է հենց Հայկոն՝ իր ստուդիայում, Ավետ Բարսեղյանն էլ բառերը գրեց ռուսերեն»,– Արա Մարտիրոսյանի հոգեհանգստի արարողությունից հետո լրագրողների հետ զրույցում կիսվեց երգչուհի Սոնան:
«Մտածում էինք, որ էլի կլինի դուետ, քանի որ մեր տվյալները շատ համահունչ էին, նման էինք, ասում էր՝ Սոնչիկ, ոնց որ ես՝ շալվարով, դու՝ յուբկայով լինես, շատ նման ես ինձ», ես էլ ասում էի՝ դու ինձանից փոքր ես, դու ես ինձ նման։ Հայկոյից հետո դեռ նոր էինք ուշքի գալիս, հիմա էլ ընկերս՝ հզոր արտիստ, տաղանդավոր։ Նա դեռ պետք է վայելեր այն սերը, որին արժանի էր, բայց․․․ ինչպես կասեր ինքը՝ կինոն պրծավ»,- ասաց նա։
