Որոշ եվրոպացի պաշտոնյաներ քննարկել են Հունգարիային ձայնի իրավունքից զրկելու հավանականությունը, որպեսզի համաձայնության գան Ուկրաինային օգնության նոր փաթեթի շուրջ, հայտնում է Financial Times-ը՝ վկայակոչելով աղբյուրներին:
Ըստ նրանց՝ Եվրամիության մասին պայմանագիրը (ԵՄ) դա նախատեսում է դրույթ, որը թույլ է տալիս երկրին զրկել ձայնի իրավունքից՝ եվրոպական օրենսդրության խախտման պատճառով։
Ինչպես պարզաբանում է հրապարակումը, ԵՄ երկրին ձայնի իրավունքից զրկելու գործընթացը կարող է արգելափակվել միության մեկ այլ անդամի կողմից։ Սակայն, ինչպես նշում է FT-ն, Լեհաստանում վերջին ընտրություններից հետո ԵՄ-ում Հունգարիայի համար «երաշխավորված պաշտպան» չկա։
Այս քայլով եվրոպական երկրները ցանկանում են Հունգարիայի վարչապետ Վիկտոր Օրբանին ցույց տալ ԵՄ-ում երկրի մեկուսացման «իրական արժեքը»:Եթե այս քայլը չաշխատի, ապա ԵՄ 26 երկրները կարող են համաձայնագիր կնքել Ուկրաինային օգնության մասին առանց Հունգարիայի մասնակցության, սակայն դա «ժամանակ կպահանջի և կլինի միայն կարճաժամկետ լուծում», գրում է թերթը։
