Ենթադրենք, ամեն ինչ այնքան արագ եւ անսպասելիորեն է փոխվում, որ արտաքին քաղաքական հարցերում կարելի է տարին տարվա վրա իրար հակասող հայտարարություններ անել եւ դա վերագրել հարափոփոխ աշխարհին։ Ենթադրենք՝ կարելի է ասել, որ Արցախի հարցում, երբ ասում էինք «Արցախը Հայաստան է», «Աղդամը մեր հայրենիքն է», անկեղծ էինք մեր ցանկությունների մեջ, բայց մեր անփորձությունը խանգարեց, որ ճիշտ կողմնորոշվենք եւ բոլոր վտանգները զգանք։ Ենթադրենք, որոշ վտանգներ ինչ-որ պահից անգամ զգում էիք, սակայն վախենում էիք բարձրաձայնել, որովհետեւ թվում էր, թե հայրենասեր ու արցախասեր մեր ժողովուրդը ձեր թեւից բռնելու է եւ դուրս շպրտի իշխանական կաբինետներից, իսկ դուք դրանց «քաղցրությունն» արդեն զգացել էիք եւ չէիք ուզում դուրս շպրտվել։

Ենթադրենք՝ այնքան միամիտ էիք, որ կարծում էիք, թե Լավրովին կասեք՝ ադապտացվիր մեր կլիմային, Պուտինին կնվաստացնեք՝ մի իքս չինովնիկի դիմավորելու ուղարկելով, ՀԱՊԿ կառույցը կծաղրեք ու կմարսեք, որովհետեւ ձեր թիկունքին զգում էիք հայ ժողովրդի աջակցող շնչառությունը, եւ «ծովը ծնկներիցդ» էր մի քանի տարի, մինչեւ կգա ապաշխարանքի պահը։

Բայց ինչպե՞ս կարող է մի իշխանություն այդքան շատ սխալներ թույլ տալ այդքան կարճ ժամանակում։ Ինչպե՞ս կարող է ցինիզմը, միամտությունը, անամոթությունը, անգրագիտությունը, չարությունը, խորհուրդներ չլսելու մեծամտությունը, լավ կադրերին չօգտագործելու, վատերին բարձր պաշտոններ տալու անփութությունն այսքան շատ լինել մի երկրում։ Այսքան իրար գումարվել եւ պետականակործան հեղեղի վերածվել։ Իսկ երբ արդեն 2020 եւ 2023 թվական ենք տեսել, դեռ շարունակեն նույն ինքնավստահությամբ, նույն անփութությամբ, նույն միամտությամբ եւ համառությամբ գործել։ Ու մի բան էլ նոր ընտրության գնան։
