Հայաստանի գործող իշխանություններն ամեն կերպ հերքում են արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրություններ անցկացնելու իրենց մտադրությունը։ Իրականությունը, սակայն, բոլորովին այլ է։ Ադրբեջանում արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրություններին զուգահեռ, որոնք Իլհամ Ալիևի հրամանագրով կայանալու են 2024 թվականի փետրվարի 7-ին, հայաստանյան իշխանություններն էլ ցանկանում են առնվազն գարնան վերջին, կամ ամռան սկզբին արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրություններ անցկացնել։

Օգտվելով ստեղծված աշխարհաքաղաքական իրավիճակից՝ Ուկրաինայում Ռուսաստանի զբաղված լինելուց, ինչպես նաև խորհրդարանական ընդդիմության թուլացման և վարկաբեկման հանգամանքից, Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը ցանկանում է գնալ նոր ընտրությունների՝ իհարկե հաշվի առնելով նաև սեփական վարկանիշի կտրուկ նվազումը։ Ամեն դեպքում, նույնիսկ այս պարագայում ընդդիմությունը չունի բավարար հանրային աջակցություն, իսկ հաշվի առնելով Երևանի ավագանու ընտրությունների փորձը՝ Փաշինյանը ցանկանում է մի քանի ճակատներով, այսինքն ոչ միայն «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագրի», այլ նաև իրեն հավատարիմ տարբեր փսևդո-ընդդիմադիր ուժերի աջակցությամբ գրոհել խորհրդարանը և ամբողջությամբ զավթել այն, իսկ դրանից հետո արդեն խաղաղության պայմանագիրը և Ադրբեջանին իրականացվող զիջումները կկարողանա հանգիստ կերպով իրականացնել՝ հաշվի չառնելով որևէ լուրջ հանգամանք։ Այս ամենը հսկայական վտանգ է պարունակում իր մեջ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության համար և վերջնականապես կարող է փակել Արցախի հարցը։
