Հայաստանը հուսով է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն բավարար ջանք և ճնշում կգործադրի Ադրբեջանի վրա, որպեսզի բանակցությունները շարունակվեն Վաշինգտոնում։
Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, լրագրողների հետ ճեպազրույցում այս մասին ասաց ԱԺ արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Սարգիս Խանդանյանը՝ պատասխանելով հարցին, թե ի՞նչ տեղեկություն կա Վաշինգտոնում Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարների մակարդակով ակնկալվող հանդիպումից և Ադրբեջանը դրակա՞ն է տրամադրված այդ հանդիպմանը մասնակցելուն՝ հաշվի առնելով այն, որ հայկական կողմը դրական է արձագանքել ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Էնթոնի Բլինքենի՝ Վաշինգտոնում Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի ԱԳ նախարարների հանդիպման առաջարկին:
«Օրվա և պայմանների մասին որևէ տեղեկատվություն այս պահին չկա, բայց, ինչպես գիտեք, Հայաստանը միշտ կողմ է այդ ձևաչափով արտաքին գործերի նախարարների մակարդակով բանակցությունների շարունակմանը։ Հույս ունենք, որ Միացյալ Նահանգների մեր գործընկերները բավարար ջանք և, գուցե, ճնշում կգործադրեն Ադրբեջանի վրա, որպեսզի բանակցությունները Վաշինգտոնում շարունակվեն»,- ընդգծեց Խանդանյանը։
Հարցին, թե իսկ Հայաստանը պատրա՞ստ է բանակցություններ անցկացնել Մոսկվայում, Խանդանյանը պատասխանեց․
«Մոսկվայում բանակցությունների անցկացման կոնկրետ շատ հստակ ժամկետներ և առաջարկներ, որքանով տեղյակ եմ, չկան։ Նաև շատ կարևոր է բանակցությունների տրամաբանության շարունակականության ապահովումը, և ձևավորվել է մի տրամաբանություն, որ արտգործնախարարների մակարդակով ընթացել են բանակցությունների ռաունդներ Վաշինգտոնում և երկրների ղեկավարների մակարդակով Բրյուսելում․ շատ լավ կլինի ամեն ինչ նոր կետից չսկսելու համար այդ շարունակականությունն ապահովել»,- եզրափակեց Խանդանյանը։
