Իսրայելի մարտավարությունը, որը նախատեսված է Գազայի հատվածի ռմբակոծման միջոցով պաղեստինյան ՀԱՄԱՍ շարժումը ոչնչացնելու համար, դատապարտված է ձախողման. խաղաղ բնակչության զանգվածային պատիժը չի համոզել անկլավի բնակիչներին դադարեցնել շարժման աջակցությունը»,- գրում է ամերիկյան Foreign Affairs հրատարակությունը։
«Զուտ ռազմավարական տեսանկյունից Իսրայելի մոտեցումը դատապարտված է ձախողման, և իրականում այն արդեն ձախողվում է: Քաղաքացիների զանգվածային պատիժը չի համոզել Գազայի բնակիչներին դադարեցնել իրենց աջակցությունը ՀԱՄԱՍ-ին: Ընդհակառակը, դա միայն մեծացրել է դժգոհությունը»,- գրում է հրատարակությունը։
Ինչպես նշում է Foreign Affairs-ը, ավելի քան 50 օրվա հակամարտությունը ցույց է տվել, որ «եթե Իսրայելը կարող է ոչնչացնել Գազայի հատվածը, ապա չի կարող ոչնչացնել ՀԱՄԱՍ-ը»։
Հրատարակության համաձայն՝ իրավիճակը կարող է նույնիսկ ավելի ուժգնացնել պաղեստինյան շարժումը։
