Սեպտեմբերին Ղարաբաղից դեպի Հայաստան մարդկանց զանգվածային տեղահանումից հետո Կարմիր Խաչը սկսել է փնտրել մարդկանց, որոնք չեն կարողացել հեռանալ կամ նախընտրել են մնալ Ղարաբաղում: Այս մասին RTVI-ին տված հարցազրույցում ասել է Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեի գլխավոր տնօրեն Ռոբերտ Մարդինին։

«Մեր աշխատակիցները եղել են քաղաքներում, շրջել գյուղերում։ Մենք շրջում էինք և բարձրախոսներով փնտրում նրանց, ովքեր մնացել էին այնտեղ, որպեսզի օգնենք նրանց։ Ու չնայած մեծամասնությունը մեկնել է Հայաստան, մենք Հայկական Կարմիր Խաչի հետ միասին աջակցում ենք մնացած բնակիչներին:

Շատ քչերն են մնացել, մասնավորապես տարեցներ, հաշմանդամություն ունեցող անձինք, որոնք չեն կարողացել մեկնել Հայաստան։ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում մնացած շուրջ 20 հոգի մեզնից ստացել են սննդի փաթեթներ, հաց, հիգիենայի պարագաներ, անցել բժշկական զննում, որն անցկացրել են Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեի բժիշկները։

Մենք նաև ապահովել ենք մոտ 50 անապահով մարդկանց անվտանգ տեղաշարժը Հայաստան, իհարկե, դա արվել է նրանց խնդրանքով։ Նրանցից շատերը վերամիավորվել են իրենց ընտանիքներին Հայաստանում։ Մենք շարունակում ենք կապ պահպանել Ղարաբաղում մնացած քիչ հայերի հետ՝ օգնելով նրանց վերամիավորվել Հայաստանում իրենց ընտանիքների հետ, կապ պահպանել նրանց հետ հեռախոսով կամ տեսակապով։ Սա շարունակում է շատ կարևոր տարածաշրջան մնալ մեզ համար», - ասել է Մարդինին։
