Երևանում ընթացող բռնցքամարտի պատանիների աշխարհի առաջնության մրցումային երկրորդ օրը 46 կգ կարգում հանդես եկող Առնո Դարչինյանը մրցել է Վրաստանի ներկայացուցչի հետ: Առաջին իսկ րոպեից հայ բռնցքամարտիկն իր ձեռքն է վերցրել մենամարտի ընթացքը և բոլոր երեք ռաունդներում իր կամքն է թելադրել մրցակցին: Դարչինյանը երկու անգամ նոկդաունի է ենթարկել վրացի բռնցքամարտիկին և 5-0 հաշվով հաղթանակ տոնել:
54 կգ քաշային կարգում իր մրցելույթներն հաղթանակով է սկսել Վահագն Գալստյանը՝ ուժերը չափելով Բելառուսիայի ներկայացուչի հետ։ Դիտարժան մենամարտ է ստացվել, հայ մարզիկի հարվածներն ավելի դիպուկ էին, և նա հաղթանակ է տոնել 4-1 հաշվով:
60 կգ քաշային կարգում հանդես եկող Անդրանիկ Մարտիրոսյանի մեկնարկը ևս հաղթական էր։ Հայ բռնցքամարտիկի մրցակիցը Խորվաթիայի ներկայացուցիչն էր։ Անդրանիկը բոլոր երեք ռաունդներում շոշափելի առավելություն ուներ և հաղթել է 5-0 հաշվով:
