«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Գաղտնիք չէ, որ վերջին տարիներին ՀՀ-ում բացահայտ քաղաքական ուղղվածություն ունեցող քրեական գործերի, կալանավորվածների թիվը աճում է երկրաչափական պրոգրեսիայով։ Ավելին, իրավաբանների համոզմամբ, քաղաքական նպատակներով իրավական գործիքակազմի կիրառումը հասել է, քպականների սիրելի բառապաշարով ասած, աննախադեպ չափերի: Միայն վերջին ամիսներին քաղբանտարկյալների ու, ընդհանրապես, քաղաքական հետապնդումների ենթարկվողների թիվն անցնում է մի քանի տասնյակը։

«Փաստ» թերթի տեղեկություններով, մինչև տարեվերջ, առավելագույնը՝ Ամանորի տոներից հետո, իշխանությունները նախատեսում են մի քանի նոր աղմկահարույց քրեական վարույթներ նախաձեռնել, որոնց շրջանակներում կլինեն ձերբակալություններ ու կալանավորումներ:Դրանց հետ կապված, ինչպես հայտնում է մեր աղբյուրը, «նախապատրաստական» աշխատանքներն արդեն ավարտված են, դերաբաշխումը՝ հստակ իրականացված։ Մասնավորաբար, իշխանությունները նախատեսում են քաղաքական դաշտում ակտիվ ու խոշոր «ձկներից» մի քանիսին զրկել ազատությունից՝ հերթական «կարովի» թեմաներ հրապարակ բերելով։

Մեր զրուցակցի խոսքերով, սա պայմանավորված է առաջիկայում սպասվող ծանր գործընթացների հետ: Այստեղ մի քանի հանգամանք. նախ՝ սովորույթի ուժով «կողքից» զբաղեցնելու թեմաներ նետել հանրությանը, մեղմել սպասվող նշյալ գործընթացների նկատմամբ սուր և իր իշխանության համար վտանգ ներկայացնող արձագանքները, միևնույն ժամանակ քաղաքական ողջ դաշտում հավելյալ ճնշումներ բանեցնել՝ հակազդեցությունների ալիքը թուլացնելու նպատակով։
