«Տաշիր» բարեգործական հիմնադրամը կվերականգնի Գյումրու պատմական կենտրոնում՝«Կումայրի արգելոց- թանգարանի» տարածքում գտնվող հայտնի շենքը, որը գտնվում է Աճեմյան փողոց, 2 հասցեում։

Բարեգործական հիմնադրամի նախագահ Սամվել Կարապետյանը ցանկություն է հայտնել բարեգործական հիմունքներով վերակառուցել ռեժիսոր Ալբերտ Մկրտչյանի «Մեր մանկության տանգոյի» կամ ինչպես գյումրեցիներն են սիրում ասել՝ «Վառեմ-մարեմի» հայտնի շենքը ու նվիրել Գյումրի քաղաքին։ Ներկայումս իրականացվում է վթարային շենքի վերակառուցման համաձայնեցման գործընթացը։

 Պատմական շենք-հուշարձանը երկու երկրաշարժ է տեսել՝ 1926 և 1988 թվականներին։ Այստեղ են նկարահանվել «Մեր մանկության տանգոն» ֆիլմի հայտնի տեսարանները, եւ այդ ժամանակից ի վեր այն դարձել է ինչպես քաղաքի բնակիչների, այնպես էլ Գյումրի այցելող հյուրերի սիրելի վայրերից մեկը։ Շատերը հատուկ գալիս են քաղաք, որպեսզի տեսնեն հայտնի շենքն ու լուսանկարվեն «Վառեմ-մարեմի» պատշգամբի ֆոնին։

 Կումայրիի պատմական թաղամասերը Գյումրիում հայտնվել են դեռեւս 19-րդ դարի առաջին կեսին։ Նրանցից շատերը պահպանվել են մինչ օրս։ Հետաքրքիր է հարուստ ճարտարապետական ժառանգություն ունեցող թաղամասի պատմությունը, որը ռուսների կողմից ստացել է «Սլոբոդկա» անվանումը։ Հենց այստեղ էլ՝ քաղաքի ամենահին ու ամենակոլորիտային թաղամասերից մեկում էլ տեղակայված է «Վառեմ-Մարեմի» շենքը։
