maps.southfront.press-ը «Հայաստանը համառորեն ամրապնդում է ԱՄՆ-ի հետ մերձեցումը» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ Հայաստանի և ԱՄՆ-ի մերձեցումը, կարծես թե, ընթանում է արագ տեմպերով։ Ըստ ամենայնի, Հայաստանը ոչինչ չի սովորել իր վերջին սխալներից։ Հիշեցնենք, որ մի քանի ամիս առաջ Արցախը դարձավ ռազմական նվաստացման և էթնիկ զտումների գործընթացի թիրախ, որտեղ գրեթե ողջ բնակչությունը տարհանվեց Հայաստան, իսկ Երևանը չկարողացավ որևէ բան անել իր ժողովրդին պաշտպանելու համար։ Այդ իրավիճակն ուղղակի հետևանք էր Երևանի՝ Ռուսաստանից հեռանալու և Արևմուտքի հետ մերձեցման քաղաքականության, որը սկսվել է 2018 թվականից, երբ երկիրը գունավոր հեղափոխություն ապրեց, որի արդյունքում վարչապետ դարձավ արևմտյան խամաճիկ քաղաքական գործիչ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։

Այդ ժամանակից ի վեր Հայաստանը միտումնավոր խարխլում է իր պատմական դաշինքները և ձգտում է մերձեցման Արևմուտքի հետ՝ թուրքական էքսպանսիոնիզմից բխող սպառնալիքի պայմաններում: Ակնհայտորեն, հայերի ընտրած այդ ճանապարհը լուրջ ռազմավարական սխալ է։ Ի տարբերություն ռուսների, Արևմուտքը չի ցանկանում կայունություն Կովկասում, քանի որ ԱՄՆ-ը և նրա գործընկերները շահագրգռված են քաոս և անկայունություն առաջացնել Ռուսաստանի սահմաններին։ Դրանում ամերիկացիների, եվրոպացիների ու թուրքերի շահերը համընկնում են, նրանք բոլորն ուզում են, որ հետխորհրդային տարածքը, այդ թվում՝ Կովկասը, լինի անկայուն և մշտական բախման մեջ։ Հայաստանի հետ համագործակցությամբ ԱՄՆ-ը նպատակ ունի Հայաստանը ռազմական առումով թուլացած և խոցելի պահել ադրբեջանական գործողությունների նկատմամբ, որպեսզի Հայաստանի կառավարությունը ստիպված լինի որդեգրել նույն դիրքորոշումը, ինչ վերջին ճգնաժամի ժամանակ, այսինքն՝ խնդրել ռազմական միջամտություն և «խաղաղապահ առաքելություն» ՆԱՏՕ-ից, որպեսզի «պաշտպանեն հայերին»:

Նման սցենարի դեպքում թուրքերը նույնպես կմիջամտեն հօգուտ Ադրբեջանի, և դա լիովին ձեռնտու կլիներ ՆԱՏՕ-ին՝ ամերիկյան, եվրոպական և թուրքական զորքեր կհայտնվեն ռուսական ռազմավարական միջավայրում։ Հայաստանի համար իր խնդիրները իսկապես լուծելու միակ ճանապարհը Ռուսաստանի հետ ռազմավարական գործընկերության վերականգնումն է, քանի որ Մոսկվան է Կովկասում խաղաղությամբ ամենաշատ շահագրգռվածը։ Ցավոք, 2018 թվականին ռեժիմի փոփոխությունից հետո Հայաստանի քաղաքականության գրեթե բոլոր թևերը վերահսկվում են արևմտամետ հատվածների կողմից, իսկ բնակչության շրջանում ընթանում է ուղեղների լվացման հակառուսական գործընթաց, որը նման է 2014 թվականին Ուկրաինայում տեղի ունեցածին։ Սակայն ինչ-որ պահի հայերը պետք է գիտակցեն իրավիճակի լրջությունը և Ռուսաստանի հետ թշնամական քաղաքականության անհարիր լինելը, հակառակ դեպքում տարածաշրջանում նոր հակամարտություններ կծագեն։
