«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Մեր ունեցած տեղեկություններով, դեռևս հոկտեմբերի առաջին կեսին Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը կազմակերպել է փակ հավաք փորձագետների և որոշ տեղեկատվական հարթակների ու քարոզչամիջոցների ներկայացուցիչների մասնակցությամբ, բնականաբար, բոլորը ՝ յուրային։ Հանդիպման նպատակն է եղել հնչեցնել, թե որ կողմ է գնում իշխանության արտաքին քաղաքական վեկտորը: Մեր աղբյուրը փոխանցում է, որ նախ՝ Փաշինյանը հաստատել է, որ արտաքին քաղաքականության, այն է՝ վեկտորի փոփոխություն է տեղի ունենում, որի ականատեսն են բոլորը, սակայն ընդգծել է, որ փոփոխությունը հատուկ կամ պաշտոնապես հայտարարված շրջադարձով չի լինելու, որոշ արտաքին գործընկերներ դրան դեմ են. ի մասնավորի՝ ակնարկել է Իրանին:

Մասնակիցների կողմից բարձրացված բազմաթիվ մտահոգիչ հարցերին ի պատասխան՝ Փաշինյանը հայտնել է, որ Ռուսաստանի հետ դաշինքում մնալն անիմաստ է, հավաստիացրել է, որ նրանք այլևս ոչ մեկի ոչնչով չեն կարող օգնել, թուլացած են պատերազմով, պատժամիջոցներով, այլևս նախկին որոշողը չեն: Դարձյալ մտահոգություններին ի պատասխան, ըստ մեր աղբյուրի, ասել է, որ Ռուսաստանից հեռանալու պարագայում Հայաստանին ոչինչ չի սպառնում, քանի որ նրանք ոչ մեկին այլևս չեն կարող պատժել. իրենց իշխանությանն էլ ու անձամբ իրեն էլ ոչինչ չի կարող պատահի, թիմը կարող է հանգիստ լինել: Նշվել է, որ մերթընդմերթ լարվածություն, հեռավար և տեղեկատվական գրոհներ հնարավոր են, բայց ավելին չի լինի, կարող են անգամ ուշադրություն չդարձնել, ինքը ևս այդպես է անում։ Այդուամենայնիվ, մեր տեղեկություններով, մասնակիցները հանդիպումից դուրս են եկել մտահոգված։
