Վատիկանը հայտարարել է, որ տրանսգենդեր մարդկանց կարելի է մկրտել

Տրանսգենդեր մարդիկ կկարողանան կաթոլիկ եկեղեցում մկրտության ծես անցնել, եթե դա սկանդալի չհանգեցնի կամ «շփոթություն» չառաջացնի: Այս մասին BBC-ի փոխանցմամբ հայտարարել է Վատիկանը:
Վատիկանի վարդապետական բաժանմունքից նաև հայտնել են, որ տրանսգենդեր մարդիկ կարող են կնքահայր լինել մկրտության ժամանակ և վկա լինել հարսանիքի ժամանակ:
Այս քայլը Ֆրանցիսկոս Պապի հերթական փորձն է ՝ կաթոլիկ եկեղեցին ավելի մատչելի դարձնել ԼԳԲՏ համայնքի համար:
Հուլիսին պոնտիֆիկոսը խոսել էր տրանս մարդկանցից մեկի հետ և ասել նրան, որ «նույնիսկ եթե մենք մեղավոր ենք, Նա (Աստված) մոտենում է մեզ օգնելու համար»:
Վատիկանը պարզաբանել է տրանս մարդկանց նկատմամբ վերաբերմունքը այն բանից հետո, երբ բրազիլացի եպիսկոպոս Խոսե Նեգրին նամակ է գրել Եկեղեցու ղեկավարներին ՝ վեց հարցով, որոնք վերաբերում են ԼԳԲՏ անձանց և նրանց մասնակցությանը մկրտության և ամուսնության մեջ:
Չորեքշաբթի օրը վարդապետական բաժինը Ֆրանցիսկոս Պապի հավանությամբ իր կայքում տեղադրել է երեք էջանոց պատասխան, որը ստորագրել է արգենտինացի կարդինալ Վիկտոր Մանուել Ֆերնանդեսը:
Դրանում ասվում է, որ տրանսգենդերը, այդ թվում ՝ հորմոնալ բուժում և սեռափոխության վիրահատություն անցած անձը, կարող է մկրտվել նույն պայմաններով, ինչ մյուս հավատացյալները, «եթե չկան իրավիճակներ, երբ հավատացյալների շրջանում հասարակական սկանդալի կամ ապակողմնորոշման վտանգ կա»:
Փաստաթուղթը նաև պատասխանում է եպիսկոպոս Նեգրիի այլ հարցերին, այդ թվում ՝ արդյոք տրանսգենդերները կարող են կնքահայր լինել: Այն ասում է, որ եթե մեծահասակն անցել է հորմոնալ բուժում և սեռափոխության վիրահատություն, նա կարող է լինել կնքահայր կամ կնքամայր:
Այնուամենայնիվ, ստորև ասվում է, որ քահանաներն իրավունք ունեն մերժել նման խնդրանքը, եթե «եկեղեցական համայնքի կրթական ոլորտում սկանդալի, չարդարացված օրինականացման կամ ապակողմնորոշման վտանգ կա»:
