Ադամ Շիֆը բանաձև է ներկայացրել ԱՄՆ Կոնգրես՝ Բաքվի դեմ պատժամիջոցներ կիրառելու պահանջով

Դեմոկրատ կոնգրեսական Ադամ Շիֆը բանաձև է ներկայացրել Միացյալ Նահանգների Կոնգրեսի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատ, որով պահանջում է Բաքվից անհապաղ ազատ արձակել հայ ռազմագերիներին, գերեվարված քաղաքացիական անձանց և քաղբանտարկյալներին, այդ թվում՝ Արցախի կառավարության պաշտոնյաներին, որոնք ապօրինաբար կալանավորվել են անցյալ ամիս Ադրբեջանի էթնիկ զտումների ժամանակ, հաղորդում է Ամերիկայի Հայ Դատի հանձնախումբը (ANCA):
Բանաձևը, մասնավորապես, կոչ է անում Բայդենի վարչակազմին պատժամիջոցներ կիրառել Ադրբեջանի պետական պաշտոնյաների նկատմամբ, ովքեր պատասխանատու են հայ ռազմագերիների անօրինական կալանավորման, խոշտանգումների և արտադատական սպանությունների համար: Այն կրկնում է նաև Ադրբեջանին ԱՄՆ ռազմական և անվտանգության աջակցության վերաբերյալ 907-րդ հոդվածի կիրառումը սահմանափակելու մասին Կոնգրեսի կոչերը։
«Ադրբեջանը պետք է անհապաղ և անվերապահորեն ազատ արձակի ապօրինի պահվող Արցախի բոլոր պաշտոնյաներին, ռազմագերիներին և այլ կալանավորներին՝ ոչ թե փոխանակման եղանակով, որպես Բաքվի կողմից մարդկային տառապանքի դաժան ապրանքափոխման մաս, այլ ավելի շուտ՝ միջազգային իրավունքով ստանձնած իր պարտավորություններին համապատասխան», - մասնավորապես, ասվում է Հայ Դատի հանձնախմբի հայտարարությունում։
