Հոկտեմբերի 24-ին Երևանի Ռոմանոս Մելիքյան և Տիչինայի փողոցների խաչմերուկում իրար էին բախվել «Նիսան» և «ՎԱԶ-2121» մակնիշի մեքենաներ: «ՎԱԶ-2121»-ի 48-ամյա և 88-ամյա երկու ուղևորները մարմնական վնասվածքներով տեղափոխվել էին հիվանդանոց: Նոյեմբերի 4-ին հիվանդանոցից հաղորդում է ստացվել, որ 88-ամյա Ալյոշա Բալայանը մահացել է:
